I’m not sure what pest this will keep out
Mine was filled with flys and ants within 2 hours of me mounting them outside. the idea of using them seemed promising but I will have to do something different to be able to used these outsideUpdated: Since the first issue with the ants, everything has been great. I put some baby powder on the ground underneath these and it seems to have worked. At first the puppies treated these as an all you can eat buffet and when through the food in both feeders in a week with overstuffed belly’s but after that first week they stopped doing that and the food last about two weeks easily. I give it four stars because the door on one of the units doesn’t stay closed as well as it should

Good quality product.
Purchased for use when I went on vacation. Hung for the dogs to get as needed. Lids stay closed and somewhat keep the elements out. It does its job well. Good product.

Seems sturdy enough. The Magnets that are supposed to keep the door close are laughable. This is not sealed so I advise a liberal coating of pet safe insect spray poor to use. Also, I wouldn’t use it outside of cover since it isn’t remotely sealed.

A little dent didn’t hurt this USA made product
I have an older one that is missing the swing door but it still works. I ordered this one because these feeders come-in handy when going on vacation to leave them with plenty of food. It arrived with a small dent but who cares about a little dent unless you plan on having this on display, it worked just fine. The only thing I would say it could use but I know it would take more time and we’ll time equals money, it could use some soft edges. As I was carrying it to install I adjusted my arms and the bottom touched my leg at just the right angle to give me a good scratch. So place some tape on the edges before you install to avoid that. I can definitely see the difference on quality and details between my old one and the new one and the old was definitely made better. The bottom piece that is slanted has bigger spacing so more food drops down on the new one, I don’t know if people complaint about the space of the old one but the smaller space lets out less kibble so even without the door cover there isn’t a lot of food just sitting there. I would definitely recommend this product even if you receive it with small imperfections it will still work.

AMAZING
Omg this is the best freaking product I could have ever bought for my dogs!!! Now my dogs were scared of the flappy door that keeps the food from being exposed but if your dogs are like mines no need to worry because the doors you can easily take off and put back on. I got the 25lb and it actually holds alittle more than that. They are very sturdy, my dogs love it and eat out with no problem, best thing to get if youâre going on vacation.
