LOVE THIS SET
I love this bowl set. I couldn’t resist even though I could only get it in green which doesn’t really match our kitchen but they have tons of color offerings if you are purchasing.The bamboo surface protects from water damage and is easy to clean and has four legs that simply screw into the base, the feet are padded as well for preventing sliding. The bowl are well protected during transport. I chose the large size even though my dog is medium. The food bowl is 2 cups and the water is 2 liter which is one of three things that drew me to this set. I wanted more water available because my dog drinks a lot of water and with my old set I kept having to refill multiple times per day but with this I can go til the next day before needing to refill. The second thing that got my attention was the fact that the bowls are ceramic and dishwasher safe while the food bowl also has built in louvers to make the dog slow their eating. And the last thing is that it is elevated relieving stress on my dogs neck to have to lean down while eating. This also relieves a subconscious fear of another animal (humans) coming up on them while eating letting your pet feel more at ease knowing it is you, the one who feeds them, who is approaching them while they eat rather than an animal, thereby reducing the risk of a reactionary bite or growl in some cases. My old bowls water bowl has a float to reduce spills but developed a crack in the plastic allowing mold to grow on the inside without a way to clean it and so since I was looking for a new set I wanted an anti-spill water bow so that was my only hesitation with this set. I really do wish it had a round floating disc, bamboo board or something with a center drink hole but so far I have not had any issues with the water side.

Wowza! Nice set for medium or large dogs!
Having gone through several elevated bowl stands, I got this hoping for something that won’t fall apart but that looks nice.BOWLS: The bowls are of great quality. The ceramic is quite heavy, so the bowls are not easily moved with aggressive licking on the part of my 40-pounds dogs.The water bowl holds more than half a gallon of water.STAND: What I like about this stand is that there isn’t a joint attaching the bowl holder to the sides of the stand; such a construction invariably fails at the joints, in my experience, especially when the set is wooden. Instead, with this product, the legs are attached underneath by simply screwing them in, similar to a table. I feel confident this kind of construction will last longer than the previous stands I’ve owned.The bowls sit in a recessed area, so even if the bowls themselves weren’t so heavy, the recess also serves to discourage movement of the bowls.When compared to similar metal stands I’ve owned, this one just looks nicer sitting in my home.Buyers who have small animals should be aware that this set is quite large.

Love this set!
This bowl set is ceramic, heavy and very nicely glazed so it looks very expensive in my office. I was not sure about the green color but once it arrived, I was grateful that I took a chance and got something eye catching and unique. The wooden stand was a cinch to put together by screwing on the legs and once assembled, it is very solid/sturdy with the full dishes on top. I have 2 dogs where the little one is a speed eater and the bigger one leaves food all day as she grazes when she feels like it. This set fit nicely under the bigger stand and has a slow feeder design that maybe adds another 3 minutes to my girl’s speed eating dinner. However, I love everything about this cute set and would highly recommend even though I agree with other reviewers that the bowls are larger than I expected. Excellent product.

Impressive Quality
The quality of this elevated stand and ceramic bowls is impressive. The stand is by far the highest quality of all five of my stands. It is solid wood in light blonde (unstained) finish with a clear coat. I really like the way the legs screw into the base manually and don’t require a tool. You just hand twist them. The bowls are very nice quality as well. They are thick and heavy for durability. They come in lovely colors. I know because I have three since I like them so much. There are a couple of things that think would be an improvement. I wish the food Bowl was a little bigger. The product page states that it is for medium to large dogs, but in my opinion, these are better suited for small to medium dogs. Most large dogs need at least four cups of food, and the capacity of the slow feed bowls is two cups. The water bowls is 72 oz, so I may just use the water bowl to fee my dogs that don’t require slow feeding bowls. The other thing I think would make this better is an extra set of longer legs for those who need a little more height to their stand. Still, this stand has impressive quality. I absolutely love it.

Overall, this is a really nice elevated dog bowl set, but for my medium dog I feel like the water bowl is way to big and deep, it forces us to waste a replace the water a lot more than with a smaller water bowl. It would be better to have a smaller water bowl and wider slow feeder for food, this would make the slow feeder more effective and also cause less water waste when replacing the dogâs water because dogs donât really drink that much, this water bowl is HUGE.But the build quality of the stand, bowls is really nice they are heavy and sturdy which is what I expect at this price point. The bowls are really easy to clean, dishwasher friendly and no damage caused so far by throwing them in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.Overall, I do recommend this set if you are okay with the huge water bowl, could be a lot less deep and wide.
