Nice looking and durable
I like the quality and durability of this car scratcher. I am really happy with how nice it looks. It works really well and when one side is all used up you can flip the scratch part over and you have a whole new surface to use. It fits well where I have it and it doesn’t stick out like my previous one. My cat loves this scratcher and uses it more than the other one we had. It was easy to set up and the cat nip that came with it was an added bonus.

Nice looking and durable, with bonus great catnip
I just got a new cat and I wasn’t sure what she would like so I ordered… a LOT of scratchers. Once I found out she prefers carboard scratchers… I ordered a lot more! This one looks the nicest by far so I figured it was just wishful thinking that she would like it. When it came it seemed to be much stiffer cardboard than the other scratcher she had been using so I thought that might be a problem. But I put it in our bedroom anyway, and was pleasantly surprised to wake up to the sound of her scratching on this instead of on the doorframes!The frame looks wooden in pictures but it is actually also made of cardboard but with some sort of coating on it. It still looks very nice and feels really sturdy, and it is very lightweight. The top of the board “attaches” to the sides with pieces of velcro in the four corners–but mine only had velcro in three of the corners. It doesn’t seem to be a problem though and it is still holding together well.An unexpected bonus is that the catnip that came with this seems particularly good! The other scratchers came with catnip that was in pretty big chunks and when I tried sprinkling them on the scratchers my cat had no interest. This ‘nip was super finely ground and it drove my cat wild. Two things to note: 1) it’s so finely ground that when I open the package to pour some out there’s like a little puff cloud of catnip haha, and 2) you can’t really see it when you pour it on the board so I think I put way too much on the first time! I would recommend pouring it into your hand and then rubbing that on the board.I kind of want to return all the other things I bought and just put one of these in every room, but it looks like the price has gone up a bit from when I first purchased. I’ll keep my eye on this and will likely buy more in the future. I would definitely recommend it.

Cats actually use this-sturdier than most
My cats have always liked the scratching posts with an incline but ones I’ve tried in the past always fall over. This one is very sturdy and stays in place. Both my cats use it and they love the silver vine. It was very easy to assemble. I like that the scratching pads last a lot longer and don’t get shredded as much. The only minor issue I’ve had is the frame has gotten scratched up so I won’t be able to buy just replacement pads but my cat can get pretty aggressive-I have some family who uses these scratchers as well and they haven’t had that issue so it may just be my cat. For the price it is still worth it. One of my cats loves to roll around on it and lay on it. This is my second time purchasing and I will for sure be purchasing again

A lot smaller than I thought
This is a lot smaller than I thought it would be and more flimsy. It looks like it’s sturdy, but it’s not. The cats like the cat nip it came with, but they’re not scratching it.

The only cat scratchers I’m buying from now on
My cat uses his scratcher multiple times a day and it has lasted far longer than the scratchers we’ve gotten from the big pet store chains. It’s been a few months and still going strong! After seeing how long the first one lasted, I got him a second one. The design looks sleek and so much nicer than the flimsy cardboard from the pet store. And it took only seconds to assemble. These will be the only cat scratchers I’m buying from now on!

Okay, so, for the longest time I didnât believe the âhypeâ around the whole âdo not de-claw your catsâ message. Growing up all of my momâs cats were de-clawed, and for good reason, or so I thought. The whole thing about de-clawing cats actually meant that they lost the first knuckle of each toe? Preposterous and untrue! Or so I thought *insert super-super-sad face here*But, then I consulted a few Veterinarians and some professors at Michigan State University school of Veterinary Medicine. Itâs true. Itâs all true. The surgery is barbaric. And completely unnecessary. Why not provide your little mini-wildcats with enough correct stimulation – like this amazing Way Basics Cat Scratcher Inclined Scratching Post? The frame is sturdy and made to sit horizontally or vertically. The insert scratching pad can be flipped over, giving you two scratchable surfaces. And when both sides are thoroughly shredded, simply throw it in the recycle bin and replace. If your little lovable lion needs encouragement at first, simply use the enclosed catnip, or any organic catnip, and leave a trail leading to the scratching post, with a small sprinkling on the scratching surface itself.My mini-monster prefers her scratching post backed into a corner where she can feel like sheâs hunting and pouncing, but even if yours like theirs out in the open, you canât go wrong with this product. The frame has a nice finished look, so it doesnât scream âmad killing feline in the houseâ.Seriously, I shopped online for quite a while to find a scratching post product that was sturdy, has replaceable scratch pads that were also easy to find, didnât take up too much space, and could be put in a variety of places so that my cat would be happy. Too light/bad quality
This may be great for small kittens but not any normal, adult sized cat. Anytime my cats try to use it, the whole thing slides and they stop trying. Carpet or hard floor, the thing isnât heavy enough. The actual framing is poor quality. I would highly recommend looking for another scratcher.

Cats Love Standing on it
My cats love standing on this thing and going to town scratching it. The pad is pretty thick and can be used for a long time since it can be flipped over. Itâs not too big either, which is good since it doesnât take up a ridiculous amount of space. Really solid deal if youâre looking for a good little scratching area.
