Super Sturdy
I bought this scratcher so that my Boy would stop using the area rug to stretch and scratch. It has totally worked! He has had fun scratching several times per day and playing in the holes between the layers. He uses it as a lounge as shown and has totally stopped scratching the rug. It has maintained its stability and hasnât made a shredded mess all over my house. I have a 2 cat household and this has been a much better purchase than a cat tree or any other cheap and flat cardboard scratcher.

It lasts and our cats love it
We first purchased this in 2013. See picture of how that one looked on its last day in action. The new one we just bought is also pictured beside it for comparison. It really lasts and the cats love to scratch and sit on it. Both our cats just love it.The quality is really good. we were thinking after all these years maybe the quality on the second one will not be as good. However it seems better actually the outer colored lining seems much stronger than the first one.This may seem pricey for cardboard, however itâs worth it. It has both good form and function.The cats wonât just scratch it, they will also chill on it too. For our home this has been the best cat item we have ever purchased in terms of cats actually using it and itâs staying power.

I set this near a window as a set and scratcher. As our cat settled into our house this has been one of the last things she’s used, but she started laying on it sometimes, and then began scratching a bit after a nice relaxing lay down. It took several weeks before she took to it. It looks good in our modern minimal house.

The PetFusion Cat Scratcher Lounge is very convenient to have. It is more heavy duty and lasts longer than any other cat lounge that I have bought.My kittens absolutely love it. My male kitten prefers it over the bed. The issue I have with it is the color stripe glued on the outside. The kittens can bite it off. According to PetFusion, the glue is safe, but I wish that the stripe wouldn’t be bitten off.I have used other cat scratchers and the cardboard starts to tear off in a weak (they literally last one or two weeks at the most) and they leave a trail of cardboard pieces just like a litter trail. They were too light that a few months old kittens were able to move them around creating a mess and a trail of cardboard pieces which I had to constantly clean.I think that the PetFusion Cat Scratcher is certainly the best scratching lounge out there. I have had it for about three weeks and it is still in a very good shape.I recon that it has a lifetime of somewhere between six and twelve months.In terms of price, I don’t think that it should be more than 30 dollars. I think 50 dollars would be fair only if it were made from a material besides cardboard. Here in Wisconsin, the humane society offers a scratch post made of heavy wood and scratching ropes that literally last forever. I have seen one that is ten years old and it looks just like new. They are priced at 49 dollars which is the same as the petfusion lounge.The con is that it is a post and not a lounge.I think scratching lounges are a lot more fun for kittens.Overall, I think that the PetFusion scratcher is convenient and also looks good. However, it is made out of cardboard and 50 is a little too much.If the price is not a concern, it is a buy.

I purchased this product as a replacement for the original item which was at least 10 years old. Full disclosure, the original would have lasted a lot longer if it wasnât left on the porch during a rain storm. Bella uses this item every day to stretch, scratch, and even sleep on.Out of the box and ready to use-(even comes with a little cat-nip for enticement).Quality is superb and thickness is wide enough for her frame. It is level on the floor and is able to be used on both sides. I would definitely purchase this item again.

Es gibt so viel Schrott im Bereich Katzenspielzeug, Katzenmöbel, da fragt man sich schon häufig, ob die Hersteller eigentlich schon einmal eine Katze gesehen haben und wissen, wie eine Katze zu begeistern ist. Umso mehr freut sich das Frauchen, wenn es Katze eine Freude machen konnte und das Geschenk auch angenommen wird. Hier hat alles gepasst: geliefert, ausgepackt, gesehen und sofort in Beschlag genommen. Erst wurde die “Lounge” bespielt, dann belegt und so ist es noch immer. Ein Plätzchen zur Entspannung, welches regelmäÃig genutzt wird und auch zum Krallenschärfen bestens geeignet ist. Etwas ängstlich schaue ich immer zu, wenn meine Maine Coon, entspannt auf der “Lounge” einschläft und dann stark überhängt oder sich dreht. Als Maine Coon Halter hat man häufig mit den handelsüblichen Angeboten Probleme. Mein Maine Coon Kater wäre runtergeknallt, er war wesentlich gröÃer als die Kätzin. Für die Kätzin reicht es aber aus und ich glaube, sie findet es passend. Ein tolles Teil, das Material ist super auch ich fasse es gerne an und meine Katze liebt es, die Form ist sehr schön und man könnte von einer “Wellnesswelle” für Katzen sprechen. Da werden noch Nachkäufe folgen!
