The PetFusion Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge Was A Big Hit!
I read several reviews on this âPet Fusion Cat Scratcher Loungeâ before I ordered it. The reviews were informative, helpful and positive so I ordered it. Before I put the catnip on the corrugated top, I put it on my kitchen table. My curious (read nosey) cat honed in on it immediately to try to open the packet. As soon as I put it on the top of the lounge, he jumped on top in record time! The catnip was a big hit, an unexpected bonus. Not only did he love the catnip, he loved the Lounge as well. He lies on top of it in Sphinx Pose (a cat Yoga pose) while he supervises & guards his territory, while looking out the window to our backyard. I donât find the bits of cardboard that land on the wood floor to be a problem. Prior to the Pet Fusion Lounge, he loved to scratch on foam squares that are used to interlock together. The mess from the foam was so much worse than the bits of cardboard from this Lounge. I canât speak to itâs durability yet since Iâve only had it a few weeks, but I read reviews on the knock off brand I almost purchased and they were not good. I didnât realize it was a knock off version until I looked closely at the description. Reviewers consistently claimed their Cat Lounge was falling apart in 1 month, whereas several Pet Fusionâs Cat Lounge Reviewers stated theirs was still standing at the 3 yr mark. That was all I needed to reassure me this brand was the only one I would purchase. My cat, Joxer & I are very happy with my purchase. Stay tuned for an update on itâs longevity. I highly recommend this Pet Fusion Cat Scratch Lounge as an excellent dual duty necessity if anyone has indoor cats. Itâs esthetically pleasing to the eye, lightweight, well made and popular in this cat household.

Stubborn cat, great product!
I have a stubborn cat who does not like change lol. She did not give this product any attention at first and thought i wasted my money. But i would place her on top and give her treats while i petted her until she would relax and start clawing while being petted. After about 3 weeks she started using it on her own. I placed it next to her favorite couch to scratch and so far looks like she finally took to it and stopped scratching the couch. Minimal cardboard clippings from use, so its easy to sweep up. The product is very sturdy and material is tight fit . It can definitely hold up heavy cats like mine as mine. Ready to use right out of the box. Once they wear out the top side you just flip over and start like new. I would definitely recommend.

Sturdy cat scratcher
My cats love this cat scratcher! Itâs heavy and sturdy so when theyâre a getting their scratch on, it doesnât move or fall over like a lot of the other cheap scratchers online. Our cats love it as a bed also with the curved top. Highly recommend this for your kitties! I have it placed next to our couch and my four cats donât even consider the couch for the scratching sessions.

Smells like Mold ð¿
Our cat loved the old version of this scratcher. It lasted a year and was his favorite. I ordered a new one as a surprise for the fluffy guy early this week and noticed. strong mold/mildew smell after opening it. I gave it a chance to see if it would air out; unfortunately, it did not. My lungs are sensitive to mold and could feel it almost immediately. My cat even smelled mildewy after sitting on the scratcher & it activated his allergies as well.Amazon customer was great and sent us a new one. I put a note in for someone to please check the item in the warehouse before shipping to me, as I saw a few similar experiences in here. Unfortunately, when the new scratcher arrived, I didn’t even need to open the outer box to smell the same issue â a strong mildew/mold smell. I hope Amazon and PetFusion see this review and check the quality of the product / the area where it is being made or stored. This product currently is not safe for pets or humans.I would like to restate that my cat loved the old version of this scratcher which we purchased in September 2023 for his 10th birthday. It had 5-stars up until this experience.

Tiragraffi veramente bello. I mici lo apprezzano ed è anche di design. L’articolo è conforme a quanto descritto ed è arrivato nei tempi previsti. Questo tiragraffi è interamente in cartone, al momento non sta sbriciolando molto, e spero che abbia una certa durata. Personalmente mi sarebbe piaciuto anche in legno e sisal, lo dico come idea per il produttore, in ogni caso sono molto soddisfatta.

I bought this when we first got our cats in 2017. Three years later I am finally looking to replace it, and of course I’m going to get the same one again because this was one of my best purchases ever! They use it every day and none of our furniture interests them in comparison. It’s a bed, a toy and a scratching post all in one. It’s shared by a big tom who can (just about) squeeze through the gaps in the middle, and a smaller lady who can easily slither through when she has a toy to chase. They’re both strong (especially the tom) and play vigorously so it’s incredible that this has outlasted their traditional cloth scratching post even though it’s used far more.The simple shape is amazingly fun, allowing them to pretend to lose toys beneath it and then fish them out melodramatically. They can glare at one another through the holes and lounge around on the top. It’s big enough that they can both sleep on it without getting in one another’s personal space and there are no sharp parts for them to uncover once they brutalise it, unlike the cheaper posts with wooden frames. Sometimes we change the way it’s positioned to mix things up. Since the top layer of cardboard has been long shredded into oblivion, we cut it in half and turned it into two separate ‘slides’ which they love playing with just as much as the original shape. We put some catnip in the cardboard mesh the day we bought it but never needed to add more over time – they got used to playing with it as-is and didn’t need further bribery.It’s not a cheap scratching post at all, but given the amount of use they’ve had out of it I’d call it a bargain. Far better for them to keep coming back to the same scratcher every day and keep enjoying it than constantly buying replacements. Highly recommended!
