Good size, build, and thickness of padding!
I loved this gentle leader! Iâve been using the only gentle leader sold at Petco and it was super thin and caused lines and excessive pressure on my pupâs sound after a little bit of use! HOWEVER, this one didnât require me to fully tighten it since it has the connection pieces so my pup likes it a lot more! It has really nice pad cushioning compared to the old one and so far seems to be more comfortable for her. I looked all over Amazon for a nice gentle leader that would take the pressure off her snout and if you are looking for the same thing, LOOK NO FURTHER. I am so happy with this purchase! Extra room isnât bad if they canât slip it off and it doesnât bug them!!

This was a game changer. Dog sitting for a friend that uses a harness to walk. He almost pulled my arm off with his pulling. Purchased this product and the next day total different dog. Yes he tugged to take it off his snout but we kept working on keeping it on and no problem. Did not loose his mind when he saw a dog because i had better control. Only thing would be for the clip that tighten the snout be a tad smaller.

The fastener that is suppose to clip underneath — slides. The red nose padding is the best part of this harness as it is considerably wider and longer than others I’ve seen and used. The rest (plastic pieces and fabric) need a rethink from the manufacturer. I suggest you be sure to use a back up collar if you decide to use this as it doesn’t stay fitted and you’ll need to readjust it often.

16 month Dalmatian. Has been to 2 week training with collar. That in itself amazing and worth the money. Then I had back surgery, after recovery I walked him, as well as my wife. He pulls like a ford 4wd truck, no joke. Bought a harness at pet store. Well, only had a loop Lindsay down his back. Smidge better, but confront another dog, I was invisible. Luckily it had padded handle and I didn’t loose control, but still sucked. When this arrived, wife said “how’s that gonna work. I explained. Time to harness up. He gets ultra excited when it’s time to go anywhere. I let him finish his caniption and I slid on. He wiggled, wasn’t super impressed, but he gave in so I would open garage door. Out we go, by the end of driveway he was still bucking like a horse. I stayed calm giving atta boys and his feet hit the pavement. Guess what, he actually walked like a trained dog. I walked our street times constantly praising him. I only needed 2 fingers to hold and walk the entire time! My wife watched from upstairs window. Her response: omg he responded like a show dog on tv. 3 days later she walked him today. She was in awe and super happy. No more dislocated shoulder from the ford taking off. skeptical at first, but a well spent 15 bucks. We love it. Thank you Amazon and seller.
