Very cute, works well for a 75 lb dog with a long snout
This donut is very cute. We hate the mournful look our dogs get when they are coned, and this makes coning much more pleasant for everyone. Our dog is 75 lbs with a long snout, and the donut fits very well. It prevents her from licking at her sensitive skin when it flares up.Note that if your dog has an eye condition, you should get a proper traditional plastic cone, as this will not prevent a dog from scratching her face with hind paws.It works great, itâs easy to use, and our dog looks pretty darn cute with it on.

Excellent cushion collar for your pet
I read the reviews and my labrador retriever recently had eye surgery. The plastic cones that the vet office gives you breaks and as soon as my dog would run into a wall or a chair it would crack the cone. My vet suggested to buy a cushion one that is durable. I saw this and because my dog, Sadie, hates the cone, I decided on this. I love it. You can thread the dog’s collar in the inside of the cushion so it won’t come off. I pump it up with a mini air pump bought here on Amazon (works like crazy) – this is the one I purchased https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CR31PFPN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, and must say I am so happy with it. It is soft and comfortable and Sadie can’t get it off. She loves it. Also as soon as I placed it on her neck, I told her she was simply beautiful. Now she prances around with it. Thank you for a great product – I am a happy dog owner and Sadie is happy too b/c it is so comfortable and she is able to eat and drink water. The best part she can’t get to her eye. Please note I bought the XL and did measure her neck and it fits perfectly.

Very pet friendly
Our German shepherd dog has been suffering for really bad allergies! Bought this to stop itching eyes and licking hot spots. Did fairly well, could have been a little bigger as our dog could still lick but not as bad without it. Overall durable, comfortable for our dog and easy to put on. Has a feature to put collar through it which makes it very user friendly for any pet owner!

Our little guy just had a mass removal and this is much more comfortable than a traditional cone and is just as effective. Less difficult for him to maneuver around and fits well with him in the kennel/crate. He is an 18lb chihuahua/mix and we got an xs, fits a little snug but able to use last bit of adjustment.

Good Quality Inflatable Donut Collar
Purchased this to use instead of the cone of shame after my pup Rollo got neutered couple weeks ago. Itâs a Medium. He is a mini multigenerational Australian Labradoodle that weighs about 15lbs. He wears a collar thatâs 10â-15â I think. His actual neck measurement is about 11â. The collar fit him well. I had to push it to get his neck to pop into it but it was not too tight at all. Actually perfect. I did not run his collar thru the loops but theyâre on there if you choose. He could not get it off once the Velcro strap was connect around the outside. So THIS COLLAR DID NOT STOP him from LICKING himself. Heâs got a pretty long body and is very flexible. However, I did not want to by a cone and use it. It did act as a deterrent though. Although he could still reach to lick the incisions, he did not do it nearly as frequently as when he had nothing on. Vetâs office said usually a couple gentle corrections is enough to deter a dog from licking or bothering the incisions (barring any unforeseen irritations from infections or such I presume). This Was Not the case for my Rollo. With it on his neck though, he only required a few NOâs each day. Without wearing it he was constantly trying to get at the two incisions. I did look into getting a larger size but the diameter of the inflatable donut part is the same no matter the size. So we just stuck it out with this one. Also good to know that I blew it up just one time, the first time. I did not have to add more at any point because of leaks etc. If your dog is flexible and has a long body, this likely will not be a 100% effective cone alternative. He was very comfortable, took lots of naps and wore it 24/7 for 8 days. He was still able to play with his toys, sleep, eat & drink while wearing it. I pushed his collar down below the donut and kept donut up higher on his neck. This also made it possible to connect his leash for going potty outside. It has a soft cover over on it so itâs not just plastic directly touching him and I guess it offers some protection from chewing. I did not rate the Chew Proof. He never chewed on it or tried to. He initially tried to push it off with his back paws but it lasted maybe 2 mins max. He did scratch at the area below where it was placed on his neck but nothing excessive. This did not puncture/hurt it at all.

I kept looking for a review by weight of dog b/c I didnât know my pupâs neck size. Heâs 34 lbs. and I bought a LARGE! He needed a large at a 14â next size. This works perfect. He just loves it; not really, but itâs not too heavy, itâs gentle enough knocking into things and itâs an instant pillow. So much better than the plastic cone of shame of the blue vet Velcro cone of shame which my dog couldnât even keep his head up while on. Worth every penny!

Best investment in my dogâs recovery process!! This puts the traditional hard plastic âcone of shameâ to shame!! I purchased this for my 9 year old Husky. He recently had surgery to remove 6 lipomas from his chest and 3 teeth (which we were not expecting, but were found to be decayed during the dental exam performed in conjunction with the lipoma removals). This collar allows him to easily walk through doorways and around tight spaces, eat and drink from his bowls, and rest comfortably while prohibiting access to his incisions.The instructions were clear and concise. You just slide your petâs everyday collar through the inside loops of the Bencmate Inflatable Collar, inflate it, and youâre ready to go! The soft cover can be easily removed and washed. Our vet instructed us to keep him in a collar for 2 weeks and the Bencmate Inflatable Collar makes it possible for us to adhere to this requirement. I highly recommend it!

It is more comfortable for the animal but not as effective as the cone. My dog figured out how to get it off and was still able to reach his stitches on his thigh, but heâs very agile

This worked well for my post surgery puppy. It was an annoyance to her but not as bad as the old hard plastic cone would have been. Itâs soft like a pillow and her collar weaved through it to hold in place. Would use again if a cone is required. Sharon

Bought this for my setter who has an injury to his face to stop him scratching. It can be attached to a collar to keep it secure. I am assuming it is comfortable as he doesn’t try to get it off and happily sleeps in it. Material has been durable. Haven’t tried washing it just wiped it down with a baby wipe. Only slight issue was initially a bit hard to blow up there is knack to it and once you figure it out fairly easy to inflate. I left it with a little give in it so more comfortable as when fully inflated quite rigid. He has worn it for 2 weeks and no damage despite his attempts to scratch his face, wearing it in the garden, scaping it on the wall and sleeping in it on the patio.
