I have a little terrier mix dog that is skiddish of everything. She needs tranquilizers to get her nails clipped and is still a drama queen about it.We decided she needed to be groomed but taking her to a groomer was not an option. I reluctantly ordered this after reading positive feedback and reviews.The machine is quiet so it doesnât scare my dog, she sits through the whole haircut just fine, and it works great in every way. Purchased because I want to be more active in more frequent grooming of our Giant Schnauzer outside of the every 8 to 12 week visit to the groomer and maybe learn to keep his standard look on my own. This is my first unit of this type.Pros:All in all the suction of the unit works very well, the razor cuts well also but will obtain assurance of this when my daughter-in-law who is a pet groomer tries out the clippers.Does not seem cheaply constructed but I only received it today and had the chance to use on our dog once so far.Not loud at all and our dog was comfortable with the noise but still wanted to bite at the attachment but eventually settled down. Easy clean out of the dust cup and minum need for clean up after utilizing the unit. It did collect a bit of pet dander on the inside of the o ring of the intake hose but nothing a moist Q-Tip couldn’t handle, which will most likely be a need after every usage. As well as the connection between the dust cup and the unit as shown in pics.Cons:For storing:If in structed to completely unplug the chord from the machine, make it so it better fits when wraping around the base in the provided arear.If you going to give 4 attachments to the hose, make the attachment stand hold all 4 attachments.Doesn’t seem to be a tight secure fit between Dust cup and unit as hair was on the inside of the unit seperate from the dust cup as seen in the pic. (Any suggestions on suring up that seal is welcomed.)The brush bristles should be a little bit sturdier. On the first use on my G.S coat, more then half the top row bristles started to bend out of shape. It did however do a great job of clearing his coat but also clearing from the brush into the hose and unit.

I finally used this and I’m very happy with it. It’s not to noisy to scare my small furbabies and the suction of the vacuum is effective. I ordered an extra blade and some combs since they did not come with the unit. The company was very helpful in assisting me with the request. I think the newer units include these. It’s easy to set up and use. I hope to get many years out of this. Will recommend for sure.

Best purchase I’ve made for my pups grooming needs. Having the vacuum is such a life saver and keeps me from being covered in hair. The clippers are actually really good . Having the hose attached is a learning curve bur it didn’t take long to get use to. The fan is quiet enough it doesn’t freak my dogs out. Happy customer.

it does not pick up hair
I havr used this product on my truck for the last month. I took pictures of the seat…that’s a day for my little ones shedding. the only thing I have found it’s good for kinda is using the corner attachment to try to get the hair off my stuff. and of course I’m just over the return policy of 30 days. I bought it mainly because it is small enough for my 18 wheeler. but in dealing with the shedding….. it’s notnworking at all as you can see. maybe for dogs with thick hair…..neither of my dogs have thick hair.
