Great for new litter
U have to make sure velcro is 100% in tact and evenly placed and the puppy will outgrow it or it will get dirty before it wears out. They worked perfectly for my litter of 13 puppies, but bc they grew so fast and collars got nasty fast, I needed to replace within a week. So I wud suggest to buy more than what u need. They are washable but if u don’t cut long enough and velcro cannot be placed evenly and on the entire inch to 1.5 inch surface, then debri will cling to it, rendering the velcro useless.

Decent, but doesn’t last long
They do what they say they do, good color selection. However, unless you align the velcro up exactly (very difficult with a wiggly puppy), it sticks to something else and pulls off. Or if fur or dirt gets inside the velcro, it doesn’t stick anymore. I’ve gone through 2 to 3 collars each for our new born puppies in just the first week of welping. I will be buying something different next.

Easy to use
The durability on these are horrible but it does the job just fine. Pups will get these super dirty and eventually these will fall off.

Great way to keep track of your individual puppies.
I liked being able to color code each puppy. Actually named each pup by a color and then let owners pick final name. Seemed like as the puppies grew they tugged at each others collars. You may want to keep an eye on that . One of my puppies actually ingested and passed a collar. So I took electrical zip ties and fastened the rest. Velcro did not seem to be enough.

Perfect for telling the babies apart!
This Velcro collars are perfect for identifying puppies and/or kittens when there are a lot that look alike. Easy to trim the excess away for a perfect fit. We foster cats and kittens and our last litter had 8, several the same color, so the collars made knowing which one was which fool proof!

Dangerous for puppies, DO NOT LEAVE unsupervised!!
They are beautiful colors, soft and the Velcro is pretty strongâ¦.but difficult to line up on wiggly puppies. I did my best. First day I had two puppies get stuck together. I just assumed it was a once and done deal. But no. This morning I woke up to screeching puppies and two puppies had got stuck together and tangled around momâs leg. It was so scary and couldâve been bad had I not been here. Iâm not looking for a different way to identify them.

Love how quick they go on, and they usually stay on despite Mama licking them clean. They are reusable, but I find after one washing they don’t stay on as well. We were stapling them, but soon decided at this price, we can just buy more and do single-use. They are a bit long for our Labrador Retriever pups, so we just cut off 4 inches before the pups are born. We only use them until the pups are 2 weeks and on their feet then we switch to ‘real’ puppy collars to get them socialized to collars.

Itâs been a week since I put them on my kittens. They never came off. You may have to cut it short to get the perfect size. The kittens are not uncomfortable by these Velcro bands and the colours are very flattering. Overall itâs a go-to product. I would totally recommend to anyone. 10/10

Quite durable the velcro can get little bits of fluff in it and come apart but other than that very soft and comfortable, needs to be wrapped around the puppies neck twice for newborns, but this did not pose any issues at all, remember to check the puppies neck everyday for possible adjustments to the collar puppies grow quickly, overall I’m very satisfied with this product it has made keeping track of the puppies very easy

These are great. I’m giving a detailed review with “Things to consider” simply because I didn’t consider the things below prior to purchase and I find it frustrating when searching for products to see lower ratings due to buyers just not having realistic expectations.Cons firstLost a star due to the fact that it says for whelping in description and should only be used after 1 week of age. Otherwise, they are as one might expect if their expectations are realistic. They are way too long for even extra large breed puppies up until the length of time they can be used. As only one end has velcro, a long “Tail” will come out the top which makes them easy for their little feet to push / pull off each other during the feeding frenzies. To consider prior to purchase:These collars can only really be used until 3 weeks of age and they they will be fairly useless after pups first deworming at 2 weeks as they get pulled and pushed off during feeding. Each time they come off, they fall off easier than the last. Every day the first week, I would wake to find 1-2 collars on the blanket in their little “Nest”. After 2 weeks, I would find 3-6 every morning and by the end of the second week, I was having to put them back on during the day all day. However due to the velcro and soft short material it sticks to and the other features that actually make these collars desirable, this is unavoidable (except with the forementioned length complaint above). In retrospect, I could have cut off the excessive length and burned the edges so it wouldn’t fray / become a choking hazard, but didn’t.Over all thoughts:I highly recommend these. In fact, if life grants me another litter to whelp and raise, I will 100% be purchasing these again

Some pretty colors, but the Velcro is quite flimsy and these keep falling off the puppies once they start moving around. They are also quite large for a smaller-breed dog, so thereâs a lot of extra material.OK for the price though.
