It works!
I ordered another smaller cheaper brand and was very disappointed! So when I received this one I was very pleased. The springs in this device were much stronger and actually easily picked up all of my dogâs poop. The plastic bags easily fit over the jaws making it super easy to pick up, bag and dispose the poop with no mess. They also included a spare set of springs to replace the old ones if they weaken. So far itâs gone very well.

One of my least favorite things is yard cleanup. Such a pain to try to use a shovel and hold a garbage bag. This scooper makes things so much easier because you can do it with one hand. Itâs very lightweight. And durable. Completely does the job effortlessly. Ordered one for my dad immediately and he loves his as well.

No more bending down
Love this item. It is exactly as I was hoping for. Can’t bend down to pick up after my 2 dogs. I had to get down on my knees to get it. Then I could no longer get back up from my knees. This scooper reaches the ground easily and grabs the mess right into the bag. Just turn it upside down and take the bag off. The bag and claw are large enough to pick up after both dogs with the same bag. Takes a little practice to coordinate the grabber with the piles but works on any surface with practice. Bought the bags from the same company because they are bigger than any other bag to fit over the claw.

Hasnât held up
Iâve had just a few months but it is already not closing all the way. I pick up after my dogs every day to every other AT MOST so Iâm not picking up large quantities at a time. This shouldnât be failing so soon.

The scoop
Once you place the bag over the scooper and then place it over the poop, do not forget to pull up on the lever. This allows the scooper to open up and pickup the poop in the bag. First try was a fail as I forgot to pull up on the lever. I like that you can pickup poop a number of times utilizing the same bag that keeps the poop safely enclosed. Got this since Iâll be having a hip replacement and wonât be able to bend over.

One hand wonder
Recently injured my dominant hand and wrist. That doesnât stop my dogs from bombing the back yard. The bombing range has been cleared of debris. It is also good for picking up small things like pine combs. Easy to use with one hand. Wish I had purchased it sooner.
