Customers say
Customers like the value and ease of use of the pet pest control. For example, they mention it works just as good as other name brands, and has similar ingredients to much more expensive products. That said, some dislike the smell and durability. Opinions are mixed on quality, fleas, effect on skin, and effect on dog.

Works great!
I was very apprehensive to use anything other than Frontline or Seresto Collar, the only 2 flea/ tick prevention products Iâd used on my dogs in the past 9 years⦠but money is so tight I did a little research & found Activate II (and K9 Advantage or something like that, the product this one is compared to) and they work well. Itâs worked great the 3 mos Iâve used on my Bichon Fresha, dog I have now⦠She has hair, not fur, like my 2 previous dogs. So I donât know how well it works on dogs with fur; I assume it would keep fleas & ticks off dogs with hair or fur, it has for my dog! If you try, I would ck the dog thoroughly every day for first week or so to make sure itâs working⦠If youâre like me, no way do I want my pet, myself or house getting fleas! Had fleas from a roommates cat years ago & its b*tch getting rid of âem out of the house! Good luck to all ð ð¶ ð©

Keep some fleas away
I have been using this product for over a year and knock on wood, so far so good after a major flea Breakout in my house 3 months of a nightmare this product has protected my dog from fleas and bringing them home, this is a great product at a great price and the tube it comes in gives you plenty inside of it to spread on your dog’s scalp great product.

Not a Good Experience
UPDATE on Thursday â Still cleaning up after sick dog. Dog is listless. Still has diarrhea. Not eating. If the ingredients are even whatâs listed on the package (same as Advantix II), thereâs definitely a dosage problem with this medication. **From now on, I do not recommend purchasing off-brand medications for animals on Amazon without a recommendation from a personal friend or vet, and the same reputable Amazon seller the friend or vet uses.**Original Review on Sunday â Applied medication around 3pm. We usually use Advantix II (as needed in spring, summer.) Thereâs a lot more medication in the tube of Activate II than Advantix II. (Same weight/size dog.)3am sick dog. 4am still cleaning up after sick dog.I didnât mind, but fyi ⦠Application method is not the via regular plastic tube with pointy tip. Itâs in a plastic front with a paper back. I cut the âapplicatorâ at the very end so the opening was small. If you have a ârowdyâ dog, dispense method might be an issueâ¦I was glad we have enough of the name brand for our âExtra Largeâ rowdy dog. With this brand, you canât dispense half now and the rest later. No cap.Our yard has biting flies, mites, and chewing lice, and mosquitoes. No fleas. The name brand usually takes care of the scratching within a day. Iâll update this review as to whether it worked after 24 hrs. I want to believe itâs as good as the name brand at half the price. Perhaps the dosage isnât correct? As previously mentioned, thereâs a lot more in this tube than the name brand. **The box was labeled Large Dog, but the application tube itself isnât labeled.**If youâre concerned about your environmental footprint/reducing plastics in landfills â¦The plastic âsafety clam shellâ isnât sealed, itâs for show – it unsnaps at the corners for easy access. Total waste of plastic for no reason – not really a safety, nor an anti-theft seal. More plastic in that clamshell than in all of the tubes combined in a box of the other brand ⦠And the applicators are half plastic too.

Works well/leaked when removing from package
This seems to work well, and is more reasonably priced than what we used to use. The seal on the applicator package seems very weak through, and two doses leaked onto the counter and my hands as I was opening them: seems like this could be improved.

Trying for the first time
This product is supposed to keep mosquitoes away. That is the main issue I have seen in my dogs this summer. The population has exploded and the humans have to wear repellent even if we are just going out to the car. It is too early to tell, but there was prompt shipping, ease of use, similar ingredients to much more expensive products. Hopeful.

Affordable flea and tick meds
This stuff works wonders. I take my dog hiking through paths in the forest every day and I haven’t found any ticks or fleas on him. I’ve been using this product for the past few years and will continue to do so.
