The SREBAY Cat Scratching Climbing Carpet is awesome and has stopped my half feral kitty from tearing up my recliners. I chose the dark grey option and received two rolls that, in total, measured 78.7 inches by 15.8 inches. The carpet can be cut to size, has a self-adhesive backing, and you literally stick it onto anything.I was super surprised to see how well it stuck to our microfiber recliners and that it has not come off, despite kitty’s best efforts to shred it. Furthermore, I had to take a piece off and reapply it because I applied incorrectly, and it did not leave any adhesive on the fabric of the recliner, despite having a super strong adhesive.The SREBAY Cat Scratching Climbing Carpet could be used to make a climbing wall, on scratching posts or to protect the furniture. It can be cut to size and comes in several colors. It has strong adhesive, but can be removed easily. You can remove and reapply it, if need be, but I wouldn’t do it more than one. It is made out of durable polyester material and looks and feels like the industrial carpets you see at businesses. Finally, despite her best efforts, our half feral kitty hasn’t managed to destroy it and it hasn’t peeled off the recliners. Five stars.

Sticks on well
Itâs easy to cut and seems pretty well stuck on. I may still come back with a thick needle and embroider in a few places to keep it from peeling. Note to those cutting shapes: the backing you peel is CLEAR and not the silver. Took me a bit to find the edge. The plastic also tears super easy and will not pull off in one sheet. So carefully check for that before putting it on. Thatâs the only reason for the loss of one star. It took so long to remove each piece that split that i was worried the adhesive was getting compromised.

This cat scratcher is a great way to protect your furniture and household. My cat tends to scratch the corners of door posts and couches. I place this on my couches and no longer worry about damage. I fixed the damage on my front door and placed this on it to prevent further damage. my cat doesn’t love the texture of this so he usually avoids it altogether which works for me anyway. I put painters tape underneath it so that the adhesive doesn’t have direct contact with the door post just in case it would take off paint upon removal. I recommend.

I used it on a foot stool instead of the chair I intended it for. Ugly color but fine in the cats room, they are not scratching it yet though! lol

Great idea, but like others listed it does not want to stick. I had it up for a day without my cat clawing it and it fell off every time. Yes, I removed the back and put the adhesive on.

Our new male cat was scratching intermittently, and rather than scratch the side of our bed and sheet, I thought this carpet put somewhere- would be much better. When the carpet first arrived I didn’t think that it was attachable to other things, but if you look at the photos I provided, just find the edge with the red mark- and peel. Then you can stick this carpet anywhere! So if your cat has a particular scratch spot that you dislike, peel and stick this carpet. With the gray color, I think it will blend with almost anything!What I like about the carpet too, is that it doesn’t seem to be thin. It has some padding behind it, so your cat will be able to sink their nails into only the carpet (and not what it is covering), wherever you hang this item.The carpet comes in two rolled strips and the width of it reminds me of the carpet size I would use in a hallway as a runner. The two pieces are the same length and I think you get more than enough carpet within the order to cover enough for your cat to scratch. You can cut the length (or width too) to any size that you need- and my husband and I plan on using one of the rolls as flooring for the little cat house he is building for our cat.The best thing about the carpet is that if you happen to put it in a place where you have to walk over it, it is not uncomfortable. In fact, I like the feel if this carpet on my bare feet. But the real important thing is that the cat like it- and accept it as the thing he scratch. When we first presented it to our cat, we did it while he was on the bed with us, because he was running his claws into the comforter and mattress. I went and picked up the carpet and lay it beside him and my husband and I watched as he began to claw it. Now we have to wait and see for the best place to put it, so that he can learn where and what to scratch.Great item and a real relief- with it I don’t have to worry about my cat tearing up everything with his claws- now he has the perfect carpet! And I love that the item is marked, in a place where you can easily peel off the back so the sticky part is exposed. It is so nice that a manufacturer do this, rather than frustrate a person who had to search and work to pry the back off- to expose the stickiness!

Cat-Approved!
My cat ruined my upholstered ottoman, to the point that I don’t bother telling her to stop scratching anymore. One corner in particular is really bad, to the point where she scratched down to the wood and the padding came out 🙁 . I selected this in hopes that I could keep her paws safe and make the furniture look a little more presentable. This far exceeded my expectations! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a carpet that was a close match, so I went with this contrasting gray. I really like it and am considering doing all 4 corners this way!The carpet was easy to cut with regular scissors. My ottoman has a lift top, so my cuts didn’t need to be exact and I was able to wrap the ends under. Bonus with the new carpet smell!My cat is very picky with her scratching materials, who knew that could be a thing!? She doesn’t like sisal (hence, the ruined furniture!) but she used this carpet within 2 minutes of my installation, as seen on my video! The carpet didn’t move at all and it’s definitely cat approved! I’ll update on the longevity as she uses it, but so far this is a winner!

Lost stick
Pulls off when cats attempt to scratch. Simple enough to attach, but the stickiness has faded so it will not stay secure. Catâs donât like it anymore.
