Incredibly easy to place with velcro. I was skeptical at first, but theyve been holding up for months now with very little sign of wearâ¦.and I have 3 large cats.

I noticed that the previous sofa protector was very worn from my cat using it so much. He loves it and it protects my sofa. WIN/WIN in my book. Just make sure you get the correct orientation. You can order for either the right or left end of a sofa or chair. It’s sturdy and well worth the price. My sofa is safe and he doesn’t go to any other furniture to sharpen his claws.

This is a great product for the armrest and corner areas of a couch which is where my cats primarily enjoy clawing.The design is simple and intuitive enough for anyone to figure out even without instructions.Thick and seems sturdy enough for my medium size indoor cats.My only gripe is that it’s so small. Yes I realize there are dimensions and measurements provided. But if you look at my images attached there are other spots on this ad (at least before they edit it) that make it confusing and make this appear bigger than it actually is. And even one area where completely different measurements are mentioned saying it is 55 by 23 and will cover a large area. The scratch pad is not 55″ it is 23″. the length of the entire device is 55″ including the non scratch pad parts. so this phrasing can be misinterpreted and misleading.

Damaged my recliner
The underneath side has stiff velcro on the part that goes across the top of the arm. I did not realize it was there and in contact with leather sofa. It ruined the sofa. So ironically i bought this to protect the chair from the cat and instead it did MORE damage than the cat ever had done to the recliner arm. Don’t buy if you have leather or faux leather. Will be returning item. I am going to have to buy my husband a new recliner as I contacted a leather repair company and they said it was ruined beyond repair.
