Great Fountain

I was worried about this size working for my 85# lab/husky. Wasnt sure he would like it, but he loves it! The flow is great, noise is quiet,being made of metal is great for keeping it clean. Its light, keeps the water fresh, and keeps the water cooler which is great for the heat of the south!

Fraidy Cat Is Afraid
My stepcat has been suffering from constipation, so I bought this fountain to encourage him to drink more water. He always wanted to drink from the toilet or from the tub spout, which is unacceptable to me. (His bachelor dad let him do those things before we became a blended family.) I thought our boy would like the fountain because its spout is similar to our tub spout. BINGO!!! As soon as I got the fountain in place, the boy started drinking from it immediately. He drank and drank. Poop problem solved! HOWEVER⦠when our little princess kitty passed by the fountain, on the way to eat, she did a double take. (She wasnât nearby when I installed the fountain, so she didnât know it was there.) She timidly walked up to the fountain, focusing on the bright blue light that shines through the water level indicator window; she put her nose on the light, her pupils grew huge, and then she ran to hide under the bed. I turned the window to the back of the bowl, thinking that would solve the problem. The next time she went for food she approached the fountain like she might like to get to know it, but then she saw the blue light shining through the slot where the water returns from the drinking pan to the bowl. Back under the bed she went. Now when she wants to eat she carefully makes sure to walk as far away from the fountain as possible. (And of course, our little princess has to have her own ânon-threateningâ bowl of water.). It has been a month and sheâs showing no signs of making peace with that blue light.I know our precious girl canât be the only pet who is afraid of that âmonstrousâ blue light. I get that the designer probably thought that the light would help pet parents see the water level easier, but I think we would be able to manage without it. You would think the designer would have anticipated that some pets wouldnât like the light, and that the person would have provided a way to turn off the light. They could have even offered a model that didnât have a light. Thatâs why Iâm taking a star from my rating. When you develop a product that scares the population youâre trying to serve you donât deserve a 5 star rating. I would have returned the fountain if our boy wasnât enjoying, and benefiting from, it.I personally love the fountain. I love, love, love that the pump comes out of the fountain, instead of being permanently attached to it, so I can give the bowl a thorough cleaning. The fountain is so easy to take apart, clean, and reassemble. It is also very quiet. Upon inspection during cleaning, I found that the filters did a good job of filtering hair and food debris.Since Iâve only had the fountain a little over a month I canât speak to its durability. It appears to be well made, but I will update if anything changes.Pros: Our boy now drinks enough that he no longer gets constipated, and he no longer attempts to drink out of the toilet or the tub spout. The fountain works well, and it is easy to manage.Cons: The monstrous blue light continues to threaten our little princess kitty. (I would wish the light to stop working, but that would probably mean the pump would stop working, too)

Fantastic with great customer service
Incredible service. Pump stopped working after a month and a week, since it was over 30 days Amazon wouldn’t help. I reached out to the company itself. They replied very soon after, and asked me to clean the device and if it wasn’t working they’d send a new motor.Cleaning didn’t help, I let them know and I can’t believe how fast the new motor showed up. I installed the new one and it works like a dream. The fountain is silent, and the amount of water running through is perfect. I could tell the difference with the new motor.Great customer service, great product. Happy cats.

I have been using this fountain for about 2 months now and itâs been working great! My cat noticeably drinks more water since I started using it. Itâs a really good size so you donât have to refill it super often too. Instructions are clear on how to put it together and itâs easy to clean.

Good water dish!
Lasts a long time if you only have cats or small animals, I have a 65lb dog and a year old kitten who share water so we needed more bowls to have water access. Our cat is a complete weirdo who prefers to drink out of the dog water and refuses to drink out of small cat dishes so I was hoping this would be enticing for him. At first he didn’t like it, I think he prefers still water which is the least cat-like thing I’ve ever seen but after a day of it being the only water source they both got accustomed to it.The pump is quiet, there’s a tiny bit of splashing ambience but it’s not loud by any means. It’ll start sputtering when the water gets low. I wish it had an auto-off feature so the pump doesn’t wear out when it’s out of water but I’m sure that’s probably a feature on a more expensive model somewhere.My only regret is not buying the dog sized one because it’s just not big enough for anything over 25lbs, my dog drinks half the bowl in one sitting. Very aesthetic though, makes me want to get the bigger one too and make matching flower pot waterers for the animals since my dog splashes water everywhere when she drinks.

I’ve had this for a couple of weeks, as I wanted to check how it went down with my cats. Thankfully, it has worked out well. At first, my cats were a little unsure about it, which I think was down to how shiny it was, but after a couple of days, they got used to it and it has joined the beakers and bowls that the picky so and so’s insist upon.It is very large, very well-made, solidly built and looks modern and smart. It was really easy to assemble and was up and ready for the cats to evaluate within a couple of minutes. I think it actually took longer to fill it with water than it did to set it up, as it holds so much. I’d heard that it was quiet, but I wasn’t quite expecting it to be as quiet as it was. It’s almost totally silent and I’ve videoed it so you can tell how quiet it is. It’s far, far quieter than the one it replaced.Since setting it up, I’ve not had to fill it as it holds so much water and that’s reassuring as we are currently in the one week that is no doubt going to be our summer.Overall I am really pleased with it. I cleaned it before use and that was really easy. The filters were also easy to fit. The only things I’d note are that the official replacement filters are currently a little expensive and I think you need to ensure that you clean the fountain frequently, as waiting for it to be empty will take a while! It is easy to clean though as I say and is a step above my previous fountain in quality and I think it will last a long time.

Achetée pour remplacer une fontaine à eau cat mate en matière plastique sur laquelle l’eau très calcaire de notre ville se fixait et dont la pompe venait de lâcher, je ne regrette pas cet achat. J’ai 5 chats à la maison, ces derniers ont adopté cette nouvelle fontaine après un petit temps d’adaptation. Pour ces derniers le robinet est décoratif car ils boivent dans la partie en dessous de ce dernier. La cuve en inox facilite l’entretien, un nettoyage complet et est à faire toutes les deux semaines. La pompe est très silencieuse, on entend juste le “bruit” de l’eau qui tombe du robinet dans la partie haute. La livraison a été effectuée le jour annoncé par Amazon.
