best cat litter ever. literally 0 dust!
i am so glad i stumbled upon this litter. i absolutely hate clay litter and i was really hoping i could transition my cat to something else, but she wasnât going for it. this litter is what i would call a âcompromiseâ between us lol.the #1 thing i canât stand about clay litter is THE DUST. itâs the worst thing in the world. so please trust me when i say this litter has literally no dust. none at all. iâve gone through many jugs of it and not once have i experienced dust. truly a miracle. i would describe it as very fine grained gravel. the pieces donât break down and itâs pleasant to touch.another thing i donât like about clay litter is the smell. most of it has some kind of extremely strong perfumery scent that makes me want to vomit, especially when mixed with cat pee/poo smell. this litter has zero scent and itâs amazing. my cat is happy. iâm happy. i use a cat odor remover spray every few days to keep things fresh, and if i keep up with it thereâs no smell at all.the other thing i hate about clay litter is the tracking. i have a lot of rugs and do not want to be vacuuming litter out of them all the time. i got a random clay litter from the store when i was in a pinch and it got EVERYWHERE. this stuff really doesnât do that. i wouldnât call it absolutely zero tracking, but i donât feel like i have to vacuum much more frequently than i did before i brought my cat here. i do have to vacuum around the litter box every day or two but thatâs just because my cat likes to make a mess.if they keep selling this i will never buy another litter again. i have a subscription to it. my mom also doesnât like clay litter for the same reasons I donât, so i recommended this to her and now she wonât use anything else either.finally, itâs affordable! some of the fancier cat litters cost just way too much for me but this one is definitely reasonable. i will say the jug doesnât last me as long as it claims but i wasnât expecting it to.in summary, if they ever stop making this stuff i will cry. my cat likes it and i like it and itâs affordable. i couldnât ask for more!

No question that this is very dusty, as evidenced by the perpetual, thin layer of soot-like film covering the cats’ bathroom (tub, toilet, sink, fixtures, picture frames – you name it). We have extraordinarily large litter boxes due to a finicky cat, so more typical boxes may not have this issue. After about six months of using this brand, however, it’s time to look for something else. A few observations:Pros (which outweighed the cons for a while):- It is truly unscented and lightweight.- Tracking is definitely less than standard clumping litters.- I realize plastic isn’t a brilliant container option, but do like the handle/pour-out design. Very easy to use.Cons:- No real odor control, guessing partly because it’s unscented. Adding an odor neutralizer to the box improves this without adding much to total cost.- Does not clump as well as other brands. Fecal matter is fine, but urine clumps often disintegrate when being scooped, which makes it hard to clean the box well.- Incredibly dusty! When pouring into a box and also when scooping. Someone with a single standard/small box should have a better go of it.

Just got a new 2 year old cat from the shelter. She started using it the first day home and seems to like it. Clumping, nice feeling to touch, no odor to overwhelm cat. I suggest you get a large mat to catch litter pieces that cat will track out of box. I first got a small mat, but then got an extra large size, which does the job much better.

The scent is fine and it’s lightweight, but I was cleaning clumps of litter from between my cat’s beans and from his tail every time he left the box. If the litter was the slightest bit wet, it became a crunchy paste in his fur and on his paws.

The quality is fine. Not overly dusty, clumps ok. Having had lots of cats and having tried different brands of litter, I have concluded that the overall litter experience depends a lot on your cat. My current cat is on wet food only several times a day. Scooping has to be done at least twice a day. He urinates in the same location in the box. This makes for a big wet clump that sticks to the scooper because clump doesn’t stay put long enough for it to thoroughly dry. Marathon use of litter box means there’s bound to be tracking more so than if he used the box less. This means marathon use of a vacuum device. Good thing I love this cat!

Like so many other cat mom’s, I’ve tried at least half a dozen different brand and types of littera ever since I rescued my cat, Cat. I won’t bother saying what I dislike about other litters because I’m sure you have your own experience with them. I’ll just tell you about my experience with this one. It’s lightweight and comes in a nice container with a handle. I appreciate that it weighs less and that it comes in a container with a handle vs a big bag since I have to take it down a flight of stairs and I have a back injury. One container lasts an entire month for me, with one cat. I clean his box every day. I sprinkle a little baking soda on after I remove his business from it, mix up the litter a little to distribute the baking soda, then rake it out, spray with Lysol and we’re good to go for another day. I add a little more when it needs topping off. The litter doesn’t seem to dust up much at all. It also DOESN’T TRACK EVERYWHERE!! I was so annoyed with cat litter getting everywhere. I put a little artificial grass outside his litter box and between that and this litter, only a few tiny granules get out. It also clumps very good so it makes scooping a breeze! I’ve been using this for about 7 months now and won’t be changing anytime soon. Definitely recommend!
