   Perfect for my german shepherd and my border collie mix
   My dog would come out of her crate in the afternoon extremely thirsty, so I looked for a no-spill option to give her water during the day. This bottle is perfect for her! It has a large drinking tube, so she doesn’t get frustrated trying to get enough water from it like one with a smaller tube caused. I like it so much that I bought the next size down for my other dog.I did replace the plastic bottle for both dogs, as the bottles they come with are kind of small. I just used a large size Aquafina for each, and the clip holds it just fine. We’ve been using them for almost a year now with no leaking issues, and often the dogs will just pop into their crates for a drink rather than going to the water bowl in the kitchen.

   Exactly as Advertised
   I mean, of course it drips. It has to – your little buddy has to get the water out somehow. But it drips so very little you’ll never notice. When I first started my baby chinchilla on this bottle I was a little worried because of how little she appeared to be drinking. Then I had the realization – she wasn’t drinking any less, there was just more water left behind because my old bottle dripped all the time! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.I will add one caveat, however, for anyone following in my footsteps. I initially bought this exact item, marked “for chinchillas”. That’s for ADULT chinchillas. My little girl is barely 2 months old. Whatever the anti-leak mechanism is in these bottles, it makes the release ball just that little bit stiffer, and she couldn’t get the water out without biting the nozzle. So, if you have a BABY chinchilla, get the model marked “for hamsters” instead.P.S., I’m keeping the bigger bottle. My little girl IS going to grow up someday. 🙂

   helps keep clean water
   Convenient water bottle for playpen or kennel it is small for small dogs I have a 3lb and a 4lb Yorke and it works perfectly fine, however it is not full 100% leak proof because it does leak with slight movements a few drops here and there but not constant drops to make a puddle. For sure room for improvement but definitely convenient for clean water.

   A MUST
   Perfect size for a small training crate and super easy to install.I have a new puppy and before she gets her big girl kennel, she needs to train in the metal crate.She struggles to drink water from the bowl and I was afraid she wasn’t getting enough water.I found this and ordered it because of the installation description.I wanted something that I can easily install and remove since she is a puppy and I don’t want her over doing it to the point that it affects potty training.I’m so happy I purchased this!The bottle is thick and not like a plastic water bottle.The entire thing is sturdy and well made.It stays put and comes off easily.NO LEAKINGBest part is that my puppy had no problem using it.

   No drip!
   My old bottle would drip all day. This one is great! No dripping! Easy to remove the bottle and refill without having to take the whole thing apart.

   Good product but not for a fast drinking dog
   I put this in my mini dachshunds kennel for night time when we sleep and she is naturally a fast drinker which makes her choke on water. She may also like to play with it. So I only leave it in there for her for a certain amount of time and then I take it away so she doesn’t wake us up choking in the middle of the night. But it’s good product. Doesn’t leak for us and easy to install

   Works great!
   I had another hanging water bottle that constantly dripped, requiring me to place a small towel under it to collect the water. It worked fine when my dog went to use it, but the constant dripping was a real annoyance. I found this bottle after doing some research, and decided to give it a try. This was exactly what I needed!First off, the mechanism to hook the bottle onto a pen is much better than annoying springs with other bottles. The Choco Nose fits snuggly and doesn’t shift around while my dog is licking. It’s also pretty easy to remove if it needs to be relocated or packed up for a trip.Second, as already mentioned, the dripping is far far less. It can still have an occasional drip, but I more chalk that up to my dog’s aggressive licking more than the bottle itself.Third, if the bottle sits unused for a while, the ball can get slightly stuck/jammed, so your pet may need to lick it a few times to get it rolling again, or I will sometimes bump it to get it going.Overall, this is dramatically better than the other hanging bottle I used. My dog loves it, and I appreciate no more drips.

   Not Appropriate for Dogs
   I ultimately ended up returning this item as it simply doesn’t provide enough water flow for a small dog…perhaps it would be okay for tea-cup breeds, but I have a small Maltese-Bichon breed, and again, just not enough water flow to provide water for throughout the day while he is in his playpen while I’m at work. The description implies that it can be used for small dogs, but my opinion would be that it is only suited for very small animals like hamsters, gerbil’s, rabbits, etc…and again, perhaps tea-cup dog breeds.I see people complaining that this bottle leaks, and that to me is not a fair assessment. When it’s in an upright position, it does not leak. The only “leaking that occurs, is from excess water that doesn’t make it directly into your pet’s mouth. Of course that would occur…Some people give the wrong impression…that it leaks on it’s own, and that’s just not a fair assessment…I ended up getting the same brand but in a larger size, and I’m happy with it. It has greater water flow, and like the first one I received, it does not leak on it’s own…The overall construction and ease of use (clamps onto cages, or straps into a fabric playpen) is good…no complaints there…

   It gives enough water for my dog and doesn’t leak. There is some water spillage while the dog is drinking. This is the best quality of its kind and like that bottles to fit it are easily accessible, although I like the bottle it came with. Perfect!

    These are great. Easy to attach, refill. Dogs seem to like them too. I have a pair of Havanese, smallish dogs and they prefer to drink from a bottle than get wet chins in a bowl.

    Due to there being 2 ball bearings in the tube rather than one with a spring, not as much water comes out, making it harder for my Shih Tsu to drink from. She ends up biting the tube trying to get more water out of it. Prefer the previous design

    I have been through many water bottles over the years and they’ve all leaked and have rusted the metal on my dog crates. They all have “leak proof” in the titles but it’s always a lie ! I was VERY skeptical so I’ve tested it out for a while before my review. It’s very easy for my dog to get the water out. The 16mm bottle is perfect size for my shih tzu. A little water does get in the floor as he drinks so I have a little bowl on the floor to catch the water but it only happens from him drinking. Afterwards it’s back to no leaks. Highly recommend. I’ve already purchased a second one-I like that you can switch which way the water bottle faces without having to remove the holding mechanism off of the crate. So when I leave for the day I simply clip the water bottle to face into the crate and then flip it back around to face outwards during the rest of the time.
