Overall good my dog likes it
Overall its good but wish there wasn’t so much space between the seat and the window. As you can see from the photos my dog needs something to fill in the space in order to reach the window. Also would like the cushion of the seat to fill out the space so there aren’t gaps.

Even before I put it in the car, my dog was using it as a bed. The mattress insert is super comfortable and because itâs so high my vertically challenged dog can finally put her head out the window.

Wow, I am very impressed. Secure, incredible height boost, comfortable and safe for my fury friend.
I have tried a few dog car seats at this point. They always look and sound great but in reality are missing key elements eg. secure tie down, secure strap to tether my dog, ease to clean, low sides to allow my dog to breath easier and ample space. This one had a ton of great reviews so I gave it a try.My favorite elements are the seatbelt security, dog tether latch and boosted height. The seat is secured through 3 independent and sell secured straps to keep the seat in place, the tether is a proper lobster latch and not easily bent or broken (my bigger frenchie is a tugger and he’s broken two before), it is wide and provides ample space for my smaller frenchie to stretch out and still big enough that my larger one fits comfortably also – no one wants to buy two different sized dog seats to constantly interchange depending on the traveler. Instructions say to give the chair up to 48 hours to fully expand and wow did it. When first removed from the air sealed package it was skinny, flat and loped over but within just a few hours it was standing straighter and filled out. By the end of the first day it looked great and by the second it expanded more in the sense it felt more solid (not bulkier). Thank goodness I tried this one, I am very happy with it. I expect it to last us for a long time.
