My dog loves it!
It fits my dog well and keeps his head out of the water. You could tell he wanted to get into the water but scared now with the life jacket on he jumps in the pool, so fun to watch him.

Very adjustable and eased our worries
We didn’t have to test its buoyancy, but this helped us feel more at ease when taking our pup on a water taxi. She’s not a big water dog at this point but we liked that this felt secure enough to connect her leash to, and had plenty of adjustable points. She’s 63lbs and we had it tightened all the way, but she’s very deep in the chest and skinny through her stomach.Was also glad this had flotation across the chest, as many jackets I looked at didn’t.

UPDATE: XL is definitely being returned!!!I decided to give the vest a try… first time in the water I knew it was a no go, there’s not enough buoyancy support in the chest strap to hold his head far enough out of the water.Let me start by saying this vest looks and feels like it’s made very well. I love that it has the added support (buoyancy) under the belly as well as on the sides and top.My issue is with the sizing…I went by the size guide and my boy was in between so I bought a XXL…it was HUGE, so I returned it and bought the XL…it’s too small. The difference in size from the XXL to the XL was drastic, so much so that I had to double check to make sure I bought the XL and not a large or medium… nope, I bought the XL.For those trying to figure out sizing, my boy is a Standard American Bully, he’s short and stocky, he has a wide chest, thick neck and weighs 85 lbs.

My dog absolutely hates this life vest haha I haven’t tried other ones, but he definitely hates having this on. Quality is definitely there!!! I picked him up using the straps and it held up great! My dog is almost 70Ibs and it didn’t break! The size is perfect as well it can go smaller or bigger which I like.

Small fits smaller Maine coon cat well except the neck has too much padding and lines up 90 degrees off. She can swim well in it or just chill and float. She doesnât mind it really, but we wish the neck was different.
