Great Lead – wish I would have bought it sooner!
I used this long leash to give my dog – who will roam beyond property lines without a leash – some freedom. It is strong enough for up to a 100 pound / 50 kilogram dog.I like that despite the length, it does not easily get tangled. Plus the color is great in all lighting conditions.

Makes everyone feel safe, love it!
Love this lead, I got it in orange. I use it only while using a chuck-it and ball to exercise my neighborâs 3 year old shepherd mix. Itâs fabulous! Sometimes my bare legs/ankles (itâs currently hot summer) get exposed to this lead at high speed as Sir Cubby Dog runs flat out after the ball and _it does not_ give me rope burns, so yay! Because I chose the bright orange it is also obvious to passerbyâs that the dog and I are still connected (he canât reach the side walk or whatever, it helps everyone feel safe). An adult dog could chew this lead in 30 seconds but it works absolutely perfect for both of us as I just described. I just ordered my 2nd one so wanted to take the time to say, âyes, absolutely epic, thank you!â Iâm starting to get the hang of the chuck-it ball launcher and hope to need more than 50 feet soon :D. I used it for only the second time today, to get where we are going I use a real leash and then just bring along the orange cloth leash and doggy exercise equipment in a bag. The metal end which connects with your dog or puppies collar is great (excellent quality) so you could certainly safely train and walk your puppy using these leads. Or a well trained ânot inclined to chew the leadâ dog. I absolutely love your product! Thank you!

So glad we purchased this!
We just got a puppy a few months ago and wanted to train him to stay near us when we take our kids to the park. It’s a big play field that we go to and we didn’t want to stress about him running off into the woods that sit behind it. We got this leash because we didn’t want to spend a fortune on something like it. I love this leash. It’s not the best quality, but it does what its suppose to do and hasn’t ripped or torn on us yet. We take him with us every weekend and we let him run around. He’s not a huge guy, so he has to lug it behind him as he runs. Its light enough where it doesn’t bother him. He can run and not feel the weight on him. I wish it wrapped back up easier, but its cheap! I’m good with a little dirty work if it saves me some $$. It’s bright orange, so its super easy to spot anywhere. I like that too. I can wrap it around a tree or something like it, if need be. I love being able to take him with us, so having this is just really awesome. He loves being with us and we love being with him! Just because he’s cute, I’ll post a picture.

Good bang for your buck!
For the price point – this long line is a good deal. I bought these for our 3 dogs after we moved into our new house so they could get some “off-leash” time during their walks. The nylon is on the cheaper side and so are the clips but with proper care, they should last.

Great safety net for off leash training – purposely made to be chewed through
I have always had 3 or 4 big dogs at a time. They weigh between 80 to 120 lbs, and I cannot put them all on leashes at the same time. I live in Maine, with at least 100 acres of woods behind my house, and we walk the trails 6 to 8 times a day. I always use an e-collar on these walks, but if one (or two) of them have bolted on me recently, I keep these leashes on them for a week or so until I feel they are under control again. (We call it the punishment leash). Tie a half dozen or so knots a couple of feet apart near the handle end, so if they do bolt all you need to do is step on it to stop them. Without the knots, it will just pull right through. Do NOT pick up the leash to try to stop them, it will peel the skin right off your hands (or ankles). As a safety feature, these leashes are specifically made lightweight and easy to chew through. They are used for dogs that you don’t yet trust, so chances are no matter how careful you are they can still bolt faster than you can catch them. Dragging a long leash through the woods means it will eventually get caught, and you can just follow the drag marks or the barking to find them. However, twice I’ve had a dog go missing for hours (once during a blizzard) only to finally turn up dragging 6 feet of leash. They had chewed through it and disaster was averted. Another time my GSD took off after geese in a pond and his leash got stuck on something under the water, but he freed himself in seconds.A couple of years ago, my sweet black Golden Lab (yes that is a thing) took off with 60 feet of leash trailing, and I spent 10 hours in the cold rain looking for her. Unfortunately, she doesn’t bark, ever. I figured she was stuck somewhere, but I couldn’t find her. When it got dark out and I was giving up, two policemen from my town came out and helped me search for another two hours. We finally found her tangled in the bushes on a neighbors summer property. She is such a gentle dog that she has never chewed through anything, including her leashes. Another of my dogs chewed through it with one snap a couple of weeks later. So, these leashes are NOT tie out leashes, they are made to break in emergencies, just like cats collars. And that is a very, very good thing, not a defect. They should only be used when you are with them supervising them.Tie out cables should be used when you want them to stay put (although you should still keep an eye on them) and never as a trailing training leash as they (usually) cannot be chewed through and the whiplash from the clasp end could seriously injure you or your dog.

Long leash is super helpful
Love being able to have my dog on the long leash so she can run further than a shorter leash

It was just perfect for Ace to help him in training and recalling. Just the right length needed and without fear of letting ace run wildly in the park. The long leash helps you to take a quick reaction when needed to keep your doggie safe. Variety of colours and tough material used, not easily torn.Got a green for Ace and my neighbour got a red, beautiful!

Works great. Does what it says. Its a fantastic way to give your dog some space while still controlling their environment. Fantastic for recall training. Word of of advice though, don’t play fetch with this leash if you have a big dog. I was an idiot and threw a ball and told my dog to go get it, my pitbull is a good boy and did what he was told. I wasn’t paying attention to the generous coil of leash quickly disappearing in front of me until it was too late. In the millisecond before the leash went taut, my genius brain thought, “I had better start running or I’m going to get knocked onto my face”. What I should have thought was….”let go”. So my 60 pound pitbull and all of the glorious momentum he had gathered in 30 ft sent me flying through the air where I landed with an outstretched arm directly onto my shoulder which separated it. It was a very painful and frustrating couple of weeks. Leash was fine though. Very durable.
