Worked pretty well for my 10+ year old female Aussie. At 85# she had trouble getting her butt off the floor and lost the bounce in her step. I used this supplement for several years and it appeared to help.

Wait 30 days before you judge it!
It 100% works. Our 10 year old lab developed a shoulder issue about two years ago. Started out as a mild limp after heavy exercise that would improve with rest. As the issue progressed it became more of a chronic condition and he was in real pain. Vet said he would need to be put under to properly x-ray and examine the issue. Not wanting to put him through that we tried laser/infrared therapy to no real relief. He was then put on some fairly expensive anti-inflammatory meds and pain meds that provided no real relief either. The poor guy has to climb a large flight of stairs to get into and out of the house which really makes it hard to heal. He weighs 80+ lbs so carrying him is not an option.The vet also suggested two other products. 1.) Lubrisyn, a clear thick liquid/gel that is messy and hard to mix in his food and 2.) Cosequin Soft chews which are ok since he eats them like treats. The cost for those products is about 2-3x that of the Extend Joint supplement for a dog of his size. Because of the mess and hassle of giving him those products they were often skipped by accident so I can’t really say they do not work if given properly and regularly. However, it clearly is a drawback if I couldn’t get through a month remembering to give it to him on time and also the cost being 2-3x that of the Extend pets.On to the Extend Joint Care. This is a powder that is easy to pour over his food in the morning and comes in convenient single serving pouches. He seems to like it also. It probably took at least three weeks before I started to notice anything but after a full month he stopped any kind of limping at all. He is on his fourth or fifth month of taking it and I swear he hasn’t limped or shown any signs of pain since. No pain meds or any of the other products are needed. I’m sold and it has convinced me that if I ever have chronic joint pain I will take a glucosamine supplement as well.One thing to note is that this is glucosamine HCL, not glucosamine sulfate. I have been reading up on it and apparently some people swear by the HCL version over the sulfate version. This is in humans of course, but people report they only got mild relief when taking a sulfate version and when they took the HCL version had much better results.I will continue with this product because it simply works! I will update if his condition ever returns.

I have a black lab who is 12 this year… His back legs are not as strong as they used to be, but I totally believe this has helped keep him as mobile as he still is! 100% recommend. Fyi, I have tried mannnnny other hip/joint supplements, but I think this one is the one that has worked best for him!

Hi, I have to tell you the results I am having using Extend for dog joints. My Reah is a female weimaraner who has been having rear joint discomfort and stiffness. Big dog, bad rear. I have taken great care, along with the extend, to rest my dog. I also now take her on a lead to ensure no running. She has completed 1 box of the product, and she is better. Probably a combination of rest, no running, and the extend. I am going to order another round of the extend. But it is flat too early for me to give it a high rating. My girl is 10years old, always has had some back leg issues. I am not looking for a miracle, just want to allow her to move around in her last years. Her heart is there, but the body is not.
