Buoyant and sporty
I bought a size large in red for our golden retriever, who loves swimming with the fam so much that she gets over tired and just needs to float at the end of the day. She’s a big golden girl at 75lbs. Size large fits her perfectly and the adjustable straps easily adapt to her disproportionate barrel chest and skinny belly. The jacket is sporty, so she has full range of motion and the jacket doesn’t get in her way or slow her down when she’s playing hard on land or in the water. The jacket is easy to put on, thanks to the clips at the side. It dries fast and doesn’t hold in water in any way. I like the handle at the back (for dragging her out of the water when she doesn’t wanna stop playing) and the thick plastic ring to be able to use it with a leash. It’s exactly what I wanted for an overly tired dog who needs a good bit of extra bouyancy at the end of a long day, but it has also been great when she’s just in rougher waters and may need some support. If you don’t need tons of bouyancy, this may be too much for you, but it’s just what I wanted!

GSD Loves It
We bought this in size L for our 80 pound German Shepherd to use in the pool. He doesn’t know when to quit swimming, so we bought this to keep him safe. The large fits him perfectly, and he is a long, fit/slim 80 pounds. It would definitely fit him if he gained 10-20 pounds, as there is plenty more length in the belly straps. I don’t think it would fit a “longer” dog or a larger breed. We love the bright red color because it’s highly visible. It’s heavy duty without being physically heavy. It feels high quality and I’m optimistic it will last a while, as it’s holding up to near-daily use quite well.

the best life jacket for our dog!
this life jacket works amazing for our dog, holly! we originally bought it for when we go on a boat or canoeing, but we brought her to the lake with it to go swimming and now she doesnât go without it. she is a very strong swimmer but with this life jacket it helps her to swim longer and quicker.for reference, we bought her a size medium and she is an airedale terrier that weighs around 45 pounds and it fits her very well. it is easy to put on her and adjust it to fit and it has a handle on the back of it that you can grab in case she would fall off the boat or canoe. it also has a clip on it to put a leash on so you donât have to carry the jacket. when she is in the water, it keeps her head above at all times and most of her back above the water as well.all the other dog parents were obsessed with her life jacket and wanted one for their dog too. overall we love this life jacket and so does holly. this is definitely worth the money for any dog and we would definitely recommend this product!

Best life jacket I’ve tried
My one dog has always loved to swim, but when she was 5, she developed an inner ear problem that lead to her getting vertigo. The first time she tried to swim after that was managed, she went to turn, rolled, and just sunk. I got other life jackets for her to try, and each of them had the same result as if she wasn’t wearing them at all. This one is amazing, though. I don’t think she’d be able to roll over in this if she tried. It is a little bulkier than the other life jackets I’ve seen/tried (just as far as abilty to fold and pack up to transport; it is not any heavier and it doesn’t affect her ability to walk, run, jump, or swim at all), but for the ease of mind of having one that actually helps to protect my dog, I’m ok with it taking up a little more space in my closet. It has held together well over the years, but we haven’t used it as much as those that live closer to water or have a pool might. My only problem with it is that I had to get my dog a rash guard because without it, the straps left her chest and abdomen pretty raw.

Fits really well and looks very comfortable and sturdy.. Can attach gopro to it
My dog is a rottie x Kelpie who loves to go swimming. There is not a time when we go to the beach that she would go deep into the water. We bought her the EzyDog DFD after looking at the reviews ans videos on youtube. Originally, I wanted to purchase the Ruffwear DFD but it was too expensive if i buy it here in Australia and there are no suppliers anywhere that would ship to Australia. I am very happy with the EzyDog DFD though I cannot compare it with any other ones as this is the fist one (and hopefully, the last one) we bought. I have a feeling that it will last but i will surely update later. My biggest worry when i first bought it is that it may not fit or that it may be too bulky and my dog might not be able to run. On the first day we tried it, all my worries were put to rest. My pup was able to run as fast as she used to without the DFD. I can also now not worry too much when she goes deep in the water as i know that she won’t fatigue too quickly and if it does happen, she will be floating. The EzyDog DFD is comfy for my pup as well. On the first time we tried it on her, she seemed a bit scared of it but as soon as she went into the water and discovered that it made it easier for her to swim, she loved it. Now everytime we say we are gonna go “walkies” she does not mind having to wear the EzyDog DFD.I will update later if it does/ does not last. :)Update: it is still great.. No signs of tears at all. We use it almost everyday at the beach and it is still great. Yesterday I attached a go pro to the neck strap and I got really good videos. Here is a link to a video showing my dog wearing the ezydog dfd:http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T376utMjHss

I have 2 Great Danes and one is 170lbs⦠I was sceptical because I wasn’t sure it would do the trick but our 170lb male fell out of our boat this week end and it kept him afloat, thankfully!
