Working well and easy.
It works well – super easy each time putting it on -My dog has a longer nose ( large border collie ) they have a flexible neck – and she can easily takes off even her collar – unless they hard – this prudact, itâs soft as it can be – but strong for small to large dog – beautifully designed- I couldnât be happier – my dog can breath or even drink – but if it comes to it – I can control her .. feels amazing. Size value- weight – reflex- strength and much more importantly- my dog loves it .

Good purchase
I have been using a gentle leader with this dog since she came to me almost two years ago. I made some modifications to it – looped it through her collar incase she got it off (which she has a couple times)and padded the nose piece because it rubbed her fur. After a couple years, I noticed it was wearing thin in a spot and stumbled across this when ordering a replacement. One walk with it and I really like it, The straps are wider and seem stronger, the optional strap that connects it to the collar is perfect to prevent it slipping off and the padding on the nose solves my biggest gentle-leader issue. My dog is a 55 lb pittie and wears a large gentle leader – the large of this harness fits her adjusted as small as it goes and probably I should have gone down a size.

Great, sturdy, and comfortable, but -1 star for clasp slip
Have been using this for several months on my 70lbs shepherd/lab mix who is an intense puller without a gentle lead on. She jerks really hard if she catches a scent, Ans a gentle lead is the only way to safety control her on a leash (collar chokes her and harnesses pull her hair/cut her skin). This gentle lead is great! Very sturdy and holds up even if she pulls the lead off her mouth since it still keeps her safe by being clasped around the neck (like a collar). I refuse to use a gentle lead without this safeguard because I work in a dog daycare and hear of some terrible accidents caused by dogs escaping from the âmouth onlyâ gentle leads. The cushioning is great!! She has no marks (she marks easily) and does not display any signs of being uncomfortable. The sizing is wonderful too.My only complaint is that the clasp that holds the mouth area tight keeps coming undone during walks. My dog does not pull much on this lead and does not try to open her mouth wide at all, but it naturally does not stay clasped shut. My dog is well trained at this point, after years of wearing a gentle lead, but this would be problematic for a dog that sidewalk surfs, barks on walks, or pulls. It is important that the clasp keeps the mouth area taut (but not tight), but since the clasp doesnât work well, it is very loose and would be troublesome with a dog that pulls/barks. E.g., my dog barked with this lead on once and the lead touched her eyes, thatâs how loose it was.Since this does not pose a big problem for me and I have continued to use this gentle lead for months, I am only deducting 1 star. No other complaints and my dog and I will continue to enjoy this purchase!

I have used this type of product before (“gentle leader”)and had success. I like that it has nose pad and is a little easier to put on the dog than the last one. You have to read about the product and understand it. It isn’t going to stop a dog from pulling but it does lessen the pull.

Great padded headcollar
I’ve been using this head collar for my headstrong shepherd/husky for almost 2 years straight. I bought the size 2 when he was about 5 months old and it fit him up until a few months ago when I realized he was so big now he couldnt quite get his jaw open all the way. I love how durable it is, I’ve had buckles and clasps unlatch with how strong my boy is, but this one stands up to his pulling. The padding is perfect not overly distracting and it doesnt indent his face. I just ordered the size 3 and plan to keep using it for many years

It works good on my dog and he tries to get it off but it doesn’t come off easily. It’s soft and he can eat and drink with it. And he can’t fight with it.

Great Training Tool – Bad in the Wrong Hands
It works as intended, however, I feel that the straps on the sides are placed a little higher up on the nose band than ideal. Any side to side movement, unless it’s straight back or gentle, moves the cheek straps towards the dog’s eyes. I ordered a Size 3 for 2 dogs – a 70lb 1yr old pup and 100lb 2yr old dog, both german shepherds – and the size 3 fits both perfectly. Super adjustable. Other than the cheek straps being placed a bit higher than desired, my only other complaint is the clasp underneath the muzzle area as it’s a bit hard to close shut once an adjustment is made (which is a good thing too as it won’t open by itself once closed). I recommend this product for moderately reactive to well-trained dogs with longer noses who are either encouraged to or also being trained to walk nicely on a leash. However, this is only if the leash holds both the ring attachment on the head collar and the ring on the dog’s regular collar at the same time to prevent skeletal issues if the dog were to rush forward and get jerked around.This training tool is not meant to punish super reactive dogs who are pushed beyond their threshold and should ideally not be used as such. For dogs like that, please seek the help of a professional trainer if needed and only work said dog under threshold to create an ideal environment for learning and responsiveness. This training tool can help regain control of these types of dogs, but without adequate training it is nothing more than a restraint device.
