Great/safe for training and dogs that pull
This leash was recommended to me by my trainer and it is life changing. It can be very difficult to walk a 70lb bully that is interested in everything and everyone, however, the nose piece makes it possible to comfortably walk him without being dragged down the sidewalk. I could not recommend this product enough it is great for training and worth every penny. The sizing is adjustable and helps to keep you, your dog, and others safe. It takes some time for them to get used to it and it is a little pricy but worth it in the long run

Very Helpful!
My pup constantly pulls on his leash. Our trainer recommended the Sidekick and lent me one to try. After a couple of days I went and ordered it and then I ordered another one (because he chewed up the first one). Pup isnt a fan yet but we are still training with getting it on and over his nose. He is doing some alligator rolls to try and get it off while wearing it so Iâm sure it will just take some time. I love how it has a safety clasp and that it can be worn either around the neck or also over the nose. Definitely made of good quality. Seems a little pricey but thick durability and has eliminated pulling from my pup when walking.

Safety
This product was recommended by a dog trainer to help curb our puppies pullingâ¦. However he doesnât like it, heâs not comfortable, and so we put it away for a while- weâll try again. Itâs well made and I do have friends that used it with their dogs and the dogs liked it. Sorry this review is not helpful to most.

Pulling problem solved
The material is soft and strong and gently tugs on my pupâs snout as soon as he starts to pull.

Better results with far less pulling the very first time using it!
Our boy is a young rescue pup — a Lab, Golden and Flat-Coated retriever mix (just 1 year old) who entered an area rescue group with a history of being tied up. He had rope scars, a halter scar and embedded collar when he was picked up by a shelter as a stray at large (he had also been shaven of his entire coat, so all of that was sadly very visible). I share this history, because I believe our boy gets both excited and eager to walk, but equally gets anxious and quickly over stimulated – putting anything on that resembles his past, such as a leash was often a challenge because he was over the top with enthusiasm, and once accomplished he would put the petal down and pull like a freight train. He clearly learned much of this behavior with pulling to break away from being kept tied for my guess is clearly many, many hours and many, many days. He is incredibly strong for his size – about 80 lbs now but he wants to please and is a smart pup. We had tried lots of things that worked with our other previous dogs to attempt to get the pulling curbed, but nothing truly worked until this collar was suggested. WOW! He did great, and there’s of course still room for improvement but we saw AMAZING BEHAVIOR CHANGE just on our first walk. He did “fuss” a bit at the nose piece as the video shares. But we practiced inside first, and he only fussed a bit for the first part of our 1.5 mile walk. He also got “tested” by the one dog he seems to react to the most (not with aggression, but with “oh my gosh, you’re a puppy too, lets party”)! He attempted to pull, but quickly sat as directed, and it was such a relief that there’s no longer such intense pulling that it feels painful to us — his far less strong humans — and no more risky leash wrapping around the hand, which so many of us do until we realize that hurts horribly when you are restraining a freight train! I highly recommend this leash, and I am thrilled that we have a tool now that will focus him. His biggest challenge has been pulling, loss of focus with mostly squirrels and sometimes sounds of motorized bikes, and occasionally a dog. When it wasn’t rainy season, we would play vigorous fetch before walks in an attempt to wear him out before the struggle! On the first walk he went from walking left, right and center while most often intensely pulling to a nice “almost heal” stride, and when given the opportunity to lead ahead, did so without pulling. By the way, when he entered rescue, his name was Tug…we know why! My advice is be patient, be supportive and calm but also be in control. This leash is a god send!

Easy handling!
I love that this is a 2 in 1 system. My experience, I use the gentle lead and my dog oklie did slip out but the attachment for his collar was still connected so he wasn’t entirely free. It’s just so comfortable for me and my dog. Easier to walk him and less pulling! I would definitely recommend!

Good product
This product works well for my 80 lb puppy, it controls the amount of pulling. Definitely has made a difference on our walks.

Fits well, still comes off
Product was working really well, until my dog saw a squirrel climbing up tree. His prey drive reaction was so string that he got out of it 3 times and even though it was clipped to collar as well I felt like I lost control of him. Will not be using the product anymore.
