Great for your dog’s coat, health, and weight
This gives my dog tons of energy, a silky coat, and a healthy weight! When I adopted her, I put her on Hill’s right away and it made her coat absolutely gorgeous! You’ll notice that they also eat less of it because it’s more nutrient-dense (meaning they get what they actually need- it’s the good stuff!)

Our Go To
This has been the product we’ve fed out dog since he was 1 years old. It is always reliable and he loves the flavor. We trust it based on veterinarian recommendations.

FILLED WITH GOOD STUFF & OUR DOG LOVES IT
We started with another brand that had a sterling reputation. About 8 months into it, our picky eater wouldn’t eat it anymore, so we started researching and doing “try me” bites of different kinds. We eventually landed on Hills’ Science Diet (Chicken/Barley) as some of the other foods created diarrhea. He has been eating this for almost a year. It’s not cheap dog food, but I feel like it’s good for him and he loves it. We provide it to him dry, but also give him an extra dish with some of the canned Hills Science diet “wet” food. He actually likes the dry food better, as he always eats that first. I am also a huge advocate for any company that financially supports programs for adopting animals from a shelter. All of our dogs and cats have come from shelters and it always amazes me how much love these abandoned and sometimes mistreated animals have to give. They deserve a top quality food for meal time.

Quality Dog Food
The veterinarian I used to work for always recommended either Hills Science Diet or Purina Pro Plan for just about any dog regardless of dietary needs. Purina Pro Plan was not readily available at the time of adopting my dog Peach, so I went with Hills Science Diet and their Adult 1-6 kibble. Itâs a bit more expensive than your average kibble youâd buy from a big name brand at the store, but definitely cheaper than doing some specialty feed like Ollie or Farmerâs Dog. Peach seems to enjoy it and readily eats it when I set it out for her. Its hard to find something negative about this kibble. That being said, the serving sizes on the bag are a little too generous: when I adopted Peach, she was a 39 pound pit mix who was underweight with ribs and muscle glaring out. After having her on the recommended feeding amount for roughly 3 months, she ballooned up to a little more than healthy 67 pounds. Sheâs not fat by any means, but sheâs got a lil bit of cute chunk that I wouldâve watched out for had I known it was too much food. All and all, I think this is a great option for when you want to feed your dog a quality kibble that isnât trash like the cheap bags you get at the store, but at the same arenât spending an arm and a leg every month on some ridiculous dog food subscription where you feed them exotic meats and ancient grains.

Great food
We feed this food to our Scottish Terrier. He seems to enjoy it, plus he has slimmed down since switching. We have this product on auto delivery every month.
