Great Chewing Ledges for Rodents
My chinchilla loves chewing on these, and they tend to be very durable. I replace them about once a month because she will completely devour it! They come with everything needed to make sure it stays against the cage. Great for the price!

My rats like having the different textures on their little feetâs. Havenât noticed a difference in their nails yet and I have three of these in the cage, but I will update if I do. Regardless, the rats like them. They arenât the sturdiest of things (they kinda droop with a heavy rat) but they do just fine for the price.

Overall, my chinchillas really like these ledges. I’ve bought them several times. They really help keep their teeth ground down and healthy. However, because chins like to gnaw so much, these ledges don’t last very long. They will have them ground down within a week to ten days. They are also super messy so be prepared to clean up the aftermath every day. They’re at a great price point so I’ll keep buying them since the boys like them so much. If you’ll looking for something that won’t break the bank that will help stimulate your chins and help with their teeth, I’d recommend the ledges. Just make sure the food dye doesn’t mess with your chin’s tummy.

This item arrived broken and they say it non returnable. It was only shipped on an envelope and is fragile.While the actual usable product is a good product, I am unable to use the one that arrived broken.

Our chinchillas really love these ledges! It’s great for their teeth as well. Since they only get two to three dust baths a week they like to make their own by chewing on the lava ledge and rolling in the dust.

I purchase these as ledges in my chinchillas cage. He enjoys sitting on them and chewing them. He always chews the part closest to the bars first so the lava ledge eventually falls off leaving a big chunk in his cage. He will still enjoy it this way. This helps to keep his teeth healthy, as they continue to grow all lifelong.

Great addition to my rats enclosure!
I purchased several of these as a type of stepping stone to climb more easily in and out of hammocks and into and out hanging baskets as my girls are getting older. They seem to really love them and occasionally sharpen their teeth on them. Iâve also noticed itâs help keep their nails a little shorter too. Sturdy, easy to install. They stink when you take them out of the package, soU let them Air out for 48 hours minimum before installing.
