So much lighter and less smelly
I was skeptical about this litter, but after months of Pretty Litter instantly smelling like an ammonia air freshener and years of Dr. Elsey’s clay clumps breaking open like cat piss stink bombs while scooping, I was ready to try anything.Costwise, it’s incredibly effective. One bag last a whole month for one cat (actually lasts a whole month, not just says it does on the package!) and is less than half the cost of brands like Pretty Litter. It’s super light weight, I didn’t realize the package I was bringing in had litter in it until I opened it.When pouring it has virtually no dust, and is easy to pour with the resealable package design.Tracking does occur, which is inevitable with my long hair cat, but isn’t carried as far as other litters we’ve tried. Plus, accidentally stepping on a grain of litter made of corn is about a thousand times better than stepping on a piece of silica crystal. The clumps are smaller and don’t break as easily, I’m assuming because the corn is more absorbent than clay-based litter. It’s easy to scoop, and needs topping off less throughout the month as you’re removing less litter each day. There is a slight smell, a bit of a ‘farm-y’ outdoorsy smell, but there is no piss or feces smell anymore. I don’t mind the corn husk smell, you kind of get used to it pretty quick, and it’s much better than a reeking amonia smell. My cat transitioned fully overnight and hasn’t had any issues with the new litter. She used to roll around in the litter at every full change, and that would leave her dusty and smelling of clay and chemicals, but now she rolls in the corn litter and easily shakes off any pieces sticking to her and gets on with her day with no smell and no dust.

    Excellent
This is the best cat litter I have found for my 6 cats. It has a clean, fresh odor, good absorbency, and long lasting. Very happy with it.

More tracking – here is helpful suggestion
There is less dust but the granules stick to their feet and track. The clumps are softer and fall apart so it us a bit tricky to learn to use. However, one trick is to shake the litter pan like you were panning for gold. This brings the lumps to the surface. The clumps are soft so once the come to the surface, it is easier to scoop without them breaking apart. No odor problem but you can smell the slight corn fragrance. My two cats accepted the change very easily.

BUY IT NOW!! Seeing & Not Smelling is the PROOF!!
I’ve used clay litter since it hit the shelves & yes, have tried everything & went back to Light Weight due to arm injury & that is $19. & change for a month’s worth. Ludicrous! Plus, all the dust w/ clay litter has to be harmful & i have been coughing more so why not give this a try? Purchased 10 lb. bag & it’s been almost a month & lightweight, eco bag w/ cut-in handle, zero dust, zero tracking, zero smell; freshly poured or freshly used! This is a HUGE discovery in the cat litter world. My cat is spoiled & picky & she took to it immediately! Hallelujah & Thank You!Customer for life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Best litter out there
I’d originally gotten this due to the low dust amount and the natural ingredients due to my asthmatic cat. It clumps great, the smell is a nice piney scent, my cats do manage to kick it all over but I think that’s just who they are. Overall a great litter to keep your kitties healthy and your litter room smelling decent.

  6. Long Time AC

    It smells awful!
I have to start with the smell. It’s horrible. It’s suppose to be unscented, but it’s not. It’s got a very cloying scent and it even makes some of my cats squint or use anything but the letterbox. Yikes! Now for the performance of this litter, it works well as far as showing when it’s used up or dirty. It is safe for the hole we are filling up in the yard because it’s biodegradable. I have to warn you, if you have any yard type cats or any area that ants can get to, they are *crazy* about trying to move into the litter as a home! That’s not much fun either. I’ve never had that happen with a cat litter before. I love the price, and the size, but only the litterboxes that can be outside, or close to outside. such as the laundry room, can have this used because of the smell and the ants it attracts. It’s easy to scoop, it clumps well, but I can NOT get past the horrible odor. If it were really scent free, I’d be thrilled.

    No dust, good clumping.
Most kitty litters claim to be 99% dust free. That must be starting at 100 percent dust, because I can’t hardly breathe cleaning kitty litter. This produces absolutely no dust. It does a decent job at clumping. The only downside is that it doesn’t have odor control from what I can tell.

  8. Selva Oscura

Works well, but a problem when it gets wet on the floor
This corncob litter is effective and masks odors quite well. It clumps well and is easy to clean. The one serious downside is that, somewhat counterintuitively, if small quantities spill over onto the floor, and that gets wet, it creates a slimy and very hard to clean situation. It would be great if they could adjust for that!

  9. Andrea

  10. Monz

I switched to this brand of litter because of the dust all over the house from clumping clay litter. My cats transitioned to it easily. It is absorbent, has a nice smell (doesn’t last long), clumps both pee and poop. There is no dust (yippee). The only thing is the cats are used to burying their business with the heavier clay litter. So at times when they use force to cover up their business the litter flies out of the box because it is so light weight. But it vacuums up easily. There are other brands of corn litter but are far more expensive. So for the price, the clumping feature and the lack of dust – this product is a winner for me!

  11. JJ

This is very good kitty litter. Works in every way you want kitty litter to work….it’s absorbent and it clumps; it’s relatively low on dust; and it smells lovely and “wood-like” (don’t know why because it’s corn!)

  12. S. Manhertz

Tried this litter because the walnut shell variety wasn’t available. It’s not too bad at keeping the smell down, but it does not clump very well and therefore makes quite a mess. Could see Kitty’s paw prints along the hardwood floors as a result of the dust. It was a difficult task cleaning the urine from the litter box too. Eventually tried mixing it in with another litter so it wouldn’t go to waste, but we just couldn’t work with this one. Their walnut shell litter performed better for us.

  13. diane

This is one of the best litters I have found. I have a main coon and have never had trouble with snells
