   Works Great!
   Works as advertised. Our dog pulls a lot whenever he sees other dogs or people. This has stopped him from doing that.

   Potentially better if this had an extra safety strap and/or good clip.
   My 6-year-old, 50 lb. Labradoodle can get pretty excited when I walk him, so I always use a Walk-n-Train gentle leader to control him. He’ll pull and choke on his collar and has made me fall down in the past. With a gentle leader, I believe if you control the head, you can control the body. When he was a puppy, he actually chewed the Walk-n-Train’s neck strap, and it’s become frayed even more over the years. I figured it was time to find another head harness and chose this DOMIGLOW No-Pull Dog Headcollar. I ordered size medium because my doodle’s snout is 9″, and his neck circumference is 15.5″. The DOMIGLOW medium has a range of 7.5″-14.2″ for the snout and 13″-15.4″ for the neck.This headcollar fits perfectly, but I think the ¾” width of the straps is a little too wide; a design more for a giant-sized dog. The straps around the muzzle are slightly padded, and it’s nice there’s reflective tape on the entire headcollar for nighttime walks. The plastic fastener below the chin allows tightening or loosening as you slide it up and down, but you do need to apply some pressure to fasten it securely. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t come with an additional strap and/or good safety clip. If the headcollar ever does break loose, my dog could be attached by a back-up strap clipped to the collar, and I can still “reel him in.” I’ve uploaded and text-edited various comparison photos to show what I explain.When I “saddled” my doodle up, I searched for a temporary clip so I could attach the DOMIGLOW’s chin strap to the ring on his collar. Then I clipped his leash onto the ring just above the plastic chin fastener. That way, I’ll have control of his head, if necessary. We went outside for our morning walk, and it was successfully business as usual.I do think I should replace my bulky clip with a heavy-duty carabiner, if I use this DOMIGLOW regularly. I also think it’s a heavier product and will cause my doodle to sweat more around the snout than when I use our thin, lighter weight Walk-n-Train. DOMIGLOW might be better for larger, more active dogs, IMO. I’m giving this headcollar 4 stars because I think it should come with an extra clip that could attach to the neck collar for more safety.

   Maybe Not for My Dog
   The pup we got this for is a pittie mix with a fairly short snout. He can get the harness off with one quick swipe of his paw. Maybe it isn’t tight enough but the webbing is so slippery that it doesn’t keep the size you adjust it to – it just slides around. There are other versions of the gentle leader that might work better.

   Nice quality but sizing is off
   I ordered a small as my dog has a neck width of 13″ inches. The part that goes around her head at the longest length is only about 9.5″ long so I could not get it buckled. The snout part fit fine and looks like it would work, but could not actually test due to size.

   Would Give 10 stars
   We foster basset hounds and sometimes we get street dogs or neglected dogs that have never been on a leash before. These gentle leads are amazing at stopping a dog from pulling at the leash. It will literally turn a kite flying dog into a perfect star pupil. My last gentle lead went with my last foster when he was adopted so I was looking for a new one. I saw that this one fastened a bit differently. My basset hound here is an American Basset with a medium sized head and the lead came out of the package let out all the way. i did not tighten it yet but it literally went on him in one swoop and he is the hardest dog to put a leash or collar on because he gets so excited. It was soooo much easier than the last one I had ordered. I will probably order more of these to have on hand, because I think it will work on the bigger European Bassets as well as tighten down pretty small for the smaller bassets as well. The only part of this Gentle lead that is padded is the part that goes around the snout.

   Does Not Stay in Place
   Do not waste your money unless this will fit your dog at the largest setting. The material is very slick and the adjustments just keep slipping back. I have tried many times to get them to stay in place (my dog needed the muzzle area and the head area to be adjusted smaller). I can’t even use it to review how it actually works because it won’t stay adjusted. I have always used Gentle Leaders but thought to give this brand a try. NOPE. Going back to the brand I know and trust to work.

   Effective Training Tool for Dogs
   The DOMIGLOW No-Pull Dog Headcollar we got has worked great for our dog training. It fits perfectly on our pure-breed 22 different breed mutt, providing just the right control without discomfort. While our dog wasn’t thrilled initially, he quickly adjusted and learned to walk without pulling. The quality is impressive, though a wider nose piece with more padding would be a nice improvement, especially for larger dogs. Overall, this trainer has made our walks more enjoyable and manageable.

   I have an Australian Shepherd poodle mix, and he is very anxious. A lot of the training that I’ve done with professionals and on her own, leads to him needing something like this to redirect his energy towards us and not towards other people.Seriously we’ve used a halte brand of head collar, and while it’s lasted for 4 years it’s definitely run its course.So when looking at this one and picking it up, we were hoping to get the same kind of longevity and usability out of our halty into this one.But unfortunately it just feels very cheaply made. I know the comparison is around twice as expensive as this one, but I was hopeful that this would have been a little bit better built than it is.I did try it once and it seemed to work, so if you’re looking to try out something similar this might be an option for you. Just keep in mind that if you pay for more you get more.
