Belly Bands work better than I expected. My 13 1/2 year old Lab/Boxer mix has had no issues adapting to wearing the bands, and we have seen no leaking at all. None. Nada. We are talking a 85 lb. Dogâ¦heâs comfortable, no leaks, and my floors are safe from accidents. Great value; as my pup has a big chest/ribcage and small waist, I wasnât sure which size to order. Hedged my bets and bought both the L and XL. Both sizes work well, though I do need the extender when using the size L.These wash easily (follow the manufacturer instructions and use the white vinegar as suggested). No real issues drying.For peace of mind and my dogâs comfort, Belly Bands are a great choice.

I have a small 7# male fur baby, Bo, that is 14 years old. He has started losing a little bit of his bladder control and doesn’t always make it to the door to let me know he needs to go out. He has also become a very heavy sleeper and sometimes “leaks” a little on the furniture. The Pet Parent washable belly bands have been a problem solver! No more accidents to clean up, no stains to hide and no smell to have to cover. They are easy to put on and take off my dog. The velcro closure has a wide strong grip and I have not had one come undone or slip off. The gathered elastic sides ensure the band stays in place and keeps everything contained. The inside lining is super absorbent on those rare instances I don’t see him standing at the back door and he can’t hold it. Bo had no trouble adjusting to wearing them all day and the changing routine is a new normal for him. He now stands and waits for me to put the band back on him if I forget! I have purchased multiple packages to keep a clean rotation going. I prefer to rinse them in the laundry room sink before tossing them into the washing machine for a quick cycle. They come out clean and looking like new! This last order I decided to add some patterns to his collection! I highly recommend these!

These bands are working great for our older dog. He is about 55 lbs; I ordered a large and using the extender that comes with, the band fits very well. It is easily washed too. He adapted easily to wearing it, so it must be pretty comfortable. A very good product!

Little small for my XL dog
I bought the 3 pack of XLâs for my 102lb shepherd. They do the job but theyâre squeezing him really tight because theyâre a bit small. The good part is, they have enough Velcro to fit around my momâs 30lb dog. Overall, glad I bought them! Quality is very good.

These are the best invention ever for boy dog moms. My male dog had been lifting his leg in the house, on the furniture, on the walls, etc and heard about these. They work perfectly and it didnât take long for him to get used to wearing them. I love that I can through them into the washing machine and that they come in a three pack. I think Iâm going to buy more to have extras. 10/10

My senior Pitbull has a UTI and was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease. I had been at my wits end constantly chasing my leaking dog around, cleaning up pee, mopping and washing blankets and sofa covers. These have made all the difference. They actually work! Before, I was using a homemade diaper sewn with fabric and Velcro and diaper liners. It would move around and fall off him every time he jumped onto the couch. I would come downstairs in the mornings and the wet diaper would be sitting next to him. Not certain he wasnât purposely getting it off or if it was falling off. These diapers are different. The elastic keeps the diaper on even when he moves around. And as long as you put it on correctly, completely covering his junk, there has been no leaking out the front or sides. I also appreciate they come in a 3 pack. I wait till 2 are used and then wash those on a small cycle while the 3rd is being worn. As suggested by the company, I washed them inside out with the white side out and put 1/4 cup of white vinegar in the bleach area to help with the urine smell. They washed up fine so far. Be aware that they do take forever to dry. Itâs because they have extra absorbent material to soak up the pee. What I found helpful is putting them on an extra spin cycle before placing them in the dryer. Company also suggests drying on a low or no heat setting so the absorbent material doesnât get damaged. This does not aid in the drying process. I end up putting them in the medium cycle for short periods of time so they donât heat up too much. Took about 5x on medium for 20 min at a time which is not ideal when you have to keep going back and forth to the dryer. Will need to figure something else out. But the diapers are still worth the investment and 5 star rating!

It does what it is supposed to but the results were not what I expected
First, I have a 10 month old Rottweiler who at about six months (after he was house trained) started marking inside. We got these to keep from having to clean up spots all over the house while we corrected the marking behavior.The belly bands do pretty much what you’d expect. There is a sturdy, waterproof, nylon outer shell and an absorbent pad on the inside. The whole thing is washable, and as near as I can tell the absorbency of the pad is not affected by washing.We put these on the dog and they did in-fact keep him from marking. However, I had been told by a dog trainer that the dogs do not like the dampness so they stop peeing while wearing the belly band. This allows you to get the dog outside to urinate. This may be the case for other dogs, but ours absolutely did not care about having a belly band full of pee. He would just keep peeing in the belly band until it filled up and began leaking out the edges.What we ultimately ended up having to do was stop using the belly bands and keep him with us at all times in the house so we could see when he was about to pee and then take him outside to go.Bottom line: my dog might just be a freak who does not care whether he roams around with a full diaper all day. For a dog that does NOT like the feel of pee close to their body, these would work great. They were kind of a bust for us, but the price was reasonable enough that I am still glad we tried them.

These belly bands are just what our senior dog needed. He has weakness in his hind end because of arthritis in his lower back and he’s been having trouble with control in addition to being a bit confused some days. He was having accidents every few days along with some occasional spot leaking. These bands are soft and comfortable for him to wear whether he’s laying down, sitting or walking and when he does have an incident the padding pulls the urine away from him and keeps him dry and protected. There is no leak through whatsoever and washing the bands is easy with the bands coming out smelling fresh and looking brand new. I’m so glad I found these because they are making life a lot more comfortable for my elder gentleman.
