A glorious beast.
I love this table so much. I’ve been using one of those pop up tables for a few years now because I needed the mobility of taking it places but I got a van and knew it was time to get this bad boy. The up and down is very very smooth. The dogs I’ve had on it are able to jump from the low position and then i just step on the pedal and it easily moves up. None of the dogs have even noticed because it’s so smooth.I haven’t used any of the charging parts yet, mostly because I don’t need them but I will at some point. It does have European outlets, so I’ll need to use an adapter when the time comes.Pros:Adjustable and smooth.Very sturdyThe bars have multiple connections on the top and sides.The tool tray has been fantastic.Doesn’t use much power, which is great for mobile.Very easy to put together and clean.I got a free set of brushes! They’re actually really nice and they didn’t cost anything extra.Cons:European outlets (but the pictures show that)Can’t think of anything else at the moment but will update if anything changes.

Home use in our case. Clever wheel design permits leveling the bed using each wheel unit but – but – the wheel diameter is far too small in my opinion. Very difficult to move – due to very small wheel diameter. Another shortcoming – no assembly instructions provided. Video available but provides minimal detail. Should include step-by-step assembly instructions as lots of bits and pieces involved – not difficult to assemble but instructions for order of events would make it much easier than each new owner having to figure it out.Within two weeks unit began to groan and became ‘jerky’ on raising or lowering. I suspected the problem was a need for lubrication of the moving joints of the X-frame – each bolted connection. Contacted customer service; got excellent, immediate reply which confirmed my suspected cause of the noise/jerky movement and emailed to me an image with multiple points identified for lubrication of the X-frame connections. I used ‘Three-in-One’ oil and within a day the oil had seeped into all the needed contact points of each bolted ‘joint’. I used liquid oil instead of a spray (e.g., WD-40) because I think the ‘hang time’ of oil will be much longer than that of the thin spray, so it should lengthen the time to next required re-lubrication. To lube the joints, suggest you raise the bed to max height and remove the ‘drop in’ bed. Lubrication access to all contact points (ten or so) is then much easier. After lubrication, unit is back to very quiet, very smooth motion, electric motor no longer ‘straining’ when lifting. Will replace the small wheels with about a three-inch diameter wheel with lockable design.

Perfect grooming table
Iâve been breaking my back grooming my 2 standard poodles for years. I knew electric grooming tables were available but high prices kept me from purchasing one. When I came across the KANIS professional electric table for such a reasonable price my first thought was⦠âitâs gotta me a cheap imitation of the much higher priced tables.â I was so wrong. After taking a closer look I decided to give it a try. Well, my back thanks KANIS. The table is perfect. Itâs extremely well built The motor is smooth, and so quiet you can barely hear it. My dogs adapted to the ride immediately. I love being able to adjust the height to accommodate a sitting or standing position. It was delivered ready to go. I unboxed it, plugged it in and have been smiling ever since. As far as dog grooming goes, this is my best investment yet.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this table, and I’m really glad to say that I chose the right one for my needs. It arrived quickly in good packaging without any breakage, and was easy to get set up. The table goes quite low to the ground, so is easy for my dog to climb on. It raises up smoothly and quietly using either a hand control or foot pedal. I can stop it at any height I need, and the highest setting is plenty high enough for me to easily groom feet and belly. It’s also sturdy and nice looking. I’m really happy with my purchase.

A Back saver For Sure!
This table is sturdy and should hold up for a long time. The operation of the lift is super simple. It works smoothly and quietly.There are the things I did not realize before the purchase: This table is heavy and although set up is simple, it requires two people for the heavy lifting. The wheels do not have a lock mechanism though I haven’t had any issues with the table slipping. If you require the table to start as low as it goes you won’t be able to activate the lift if waring a bulky shoe. Love the organization and hooks to keep trimmers handy but they need to come off the table before lowering it if you need to go very low. So obvious now but I hadn’t given it any thought before the purchase.All in all I am very happy with the Kanis 49″ table and appreciate the brushes sent post purchase.

I have been putting off grooming the dogs that canât jump up on their own due to my shoulder pain when boosting them onto the grooming table.Problem solved!I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and this table is quiet and goes low enough -just shy of 1 foot off the floor -that I have had no trouble getting dogs on or off the table. So far no one is terribly upset by the movement. I especially like being able to start on the back and slowly raise and lower the table height as I work over the dog.The cross bar isnât much taller than the shoulder height of my big males and the grooming loops donât stay closed for me even though the slide snugs down to the rings, but so far that has not been a problem and actually allows easier access when grooming the neck.The caddy works well even though the configuration is geared towards someone who uses more scissors than I do.Despite my fussing about details, the frame is sturdy and allows for the removal of the table top for cleaning or replacement. The mechanism is quiet and hasnât spooked anyone. I consider this money well spent as long as the motor has a long working life.
