Finally found the perfect solution
I’m not one to review things unless it’s really bad, but I tried a lot of different products before realizing this is it! The tube is 8mm because I had it on had from a nibble set and 5/16 seems to leak. Nipples constantly leaked into the trays of spued out tons of water when they drank, also they were tricky to install with baby saver wire. These work great with the wire, no leaks and I opted for this set because of the extra piece to hold it in place. Finally 5 gallons last a couple days not 1. I have been using them for a couple weeks before writing this to confirm they still work great.

Suggestions for the ones who cannot use them
Trying to either stretch the spring out in the nipple or or cut the spring in half which would make it easier for the young ones bump it And get water just a thought I have done this with other cups

Missing parts
Getting ready to put the system together for my rabbits tomorrow. Getting everything ready and I’m missing some washers and some black plastic nuts to hold them on the cages.

Too stiff for babies, but fine for adults
My 6 week old rabbits were not able to activate the nipple. I think the 8 week buns could, but they aren’t the brightest lot. No issues with my adult rabbits activating it. Worked fine on a gravity fed, 5-gallon system once you prime each nipple and get the air out of the lines. The drip bowls really aren’t necessary.

Hard for rabbits to use
My rabbits canât use them. Babies especially canât, but not even my big ones can figure out how to release the water. I thought it automatically filled up when it got low but the rabbit has to bump it

These are good just not what I was looking for
Itâs completely my fault I did not read the description well⦠I thought that these were automatic filling bowls⦠They are not it is just the nipple in the bowl is for catching the extra dripped water⦠Itâs gray if youâre looking for a nipple waterer.

There’s just gotta be a better way…..
In theory these work well….but in practical use terms they just seem to cause aggravation and a new problem everyday. Every connection seems to randomly choose to leak throughout the day, causing a nasty mess and massive leakage. The diameter of all the fittings also seemed to make everyone in plumbing confused, had decent luck finding fittings in auto though as 5/16 is common in vacuum systems.In hindsight I would talk myself out of this purchase.
