Simple and effective feat of engineering!
Our two kittens use this multiple times daily. We are amazed at how easy this was to setup and is just as easy to maintain.It protects against smell, the cats love it, and it’s great being alerted whenever it’s in use. The technology keeps the litter tray clean at all times, so our cats don’t step through their own waste or carry it on their paws once they exit.The app is excellent, too. It gives us excellent and useful information about when each cat is using it (it uses each cat’s weight to know which cat it is), trends on their weight, usage, and how much time they’re spending in the box.It even has a night light we can turn off or on with the app, which is great because the cats sleep in the dark in their own space in our home.Overall, this is an amazing feat of engineering and it’s all designed for intuitive simplicity. It is well worth the cost.

Love the nightlight and no smell!
The plan was for me and my cat to move in with my boyfriend and his cats. Two cats, regular litter box. No problem. And then I found a kitten stranded on a bridge. I am not cleaning a traditional litter box when three cats are using it. That sounds like a full time job. So, a litter robot it is. Problem, most of them were ugly, and I am vain. Enter, the FurryTail litter box. Looks cute, has a super cool nightlight, pretty cool reviews, not $800. Sign me up. Best. Idea. Ever. I thought FOR SURE one of the cats was going to protest and pee on the floor. Nope. Older cat took right to it, kitten was excited to play in the new sand box. Which he did. Multiple times. Spending 2 minutes in the litter box at a time. How do I know this? Because the litter box told me. So I had to set up a ring camera to make sure he was okay. ð. Letâs move to the features. You guys, there is a flatten litter feature. Itâll just spin a little bit. Enough to flatten the litter. And when I tell you EVERYBODY in my family and in my Snapchat got litter pictures, I mean it. The app tells you when a cat (and which cat) is in the litter box and how long they spent there. Itâs super easy to clean. The waste compartment is at the top, so very little bending. Clumps of litter donât stick to the sides like other robots. Iâve also noticed my litter lasting ALOT longer in this litter box. I use boxie pro, mixed with baking soda, (and also anti stick spray on the inside of the robot JUST in case) I put baking soda in the bottom of the waste bag every time I replace it, I have a catit charcoal filter on the inside of the waste bin, and also a rose essential oil soaked cotton round in the waste bin and when I tell you my cats litter box smells like roses I mean it. ð. The ONLY concern I have is the motor is a little âgroanyâ but itâs VERY quiet. Like I have to be in the bathroom next to it to hear it. I highly recommend this litter box. Seriously life changing.

I have been using automatic litter boxes of different kinds over the years and they all have some drawbacks that donât match the expensive price they charge me for.I like this litter box that has wifi connectivity, weighs my cats, emptied out the litter when I need to change (this is so important, so much better than Leoâs Loo), quiet, has a backlight on at all times. The size of this litter box is perfect to fit with my other automatic ones in the laundry closet. The litter mat that came with it is wonderful and hilarious, itâs definitely a cute surprise that I love so much. Itâs easy to assemble and easy to connect to the app. Take your money here and stay away from the expensive Leoâs Loo or LitterRobot or CatGenie.

This is my first automatic litter box. I looked at the Litter Robot brand and really struggled with the $800 price tag. This one felt like a better alternative. Though this product is new, and that felt risky, I really like it! It was easy to assemble and my cat took to it immediately. Iâve had it for a little over a month. I have it set to automatically clean litter 10 mins after my cat leaves and it does a great job – the litter is always clean. I really like that itâs stylish and covered. The ambient light and ability control from the app is nice too. It tells me when my cat is in the litter box and when heâs left, as well as his weight. It has a motion detector that stops if it detects movement during cleaning.Everything seemingly works as it should!A few qualms: the waste bin sensor doesnât seem to be entirely accurate. It says 50% full but when I check, its too full to let anymore waste in.Also, Iâve had some struggles with getting the device to connect to my phone and internet, especially after unplugging it to try it in a different spot. I think this could be because of my internet though, but that was frustrating. It kept failing to connect to my phone via Bluetooth until suddenly, it worked?It seems like there are a few bugs and some room for improvement, but overall I think this is great value for the money and a more affordable alternative to other pricey brands. It looks good and functions as it should – making it so I donât have to scoop poop. I recommend it!Update: had it for three months and it still works great! Wanted to also mention that I literally never smell my cats poop with this box. Also, Iâve now cleaned it and itâs super easy/straightforward with the drainage hole. I love this thing!
