The dog loves it!
Our resident dog owner spends a lot of time in bed due to health issues, and the dog is often on the bed as a result. The dog sheds and also has a tendency to spit up if he drinks too much water. This is the perfect size to cover the lower portion of a full size bed where the dog rests most of the time. It doesnât hang down, but adequately covers the top. The blanket is advertised as waterproof so I expected it to have some sort of plastic layer between two fleece layers, but it does not crinkle or give any other indication it has plastic or something like that inside. It drapes and feels just like a fleece blanket, yet when the dog spits up, the mess does not go through. It washes nicely. The edges are finished with a soft binding, which should add to its durability. So far, it has done everything we hoped it would and met our expectations. The only minor thing I would point out is the side with the design is actually a light color fleece with the darker brown design stamped on top with some sort of dye. It isnât stiff like paint, but when the blanket creases or where it was crushed from shipping, the design is interrupted by being able to see the light colored background. Not a huge problemâitâs a dog blanket, not a showpiece, but I thought it worth mentioning. Overall, weâre pleased with this and the dog is, too. He burrows in and likes adjusting it just so before settling in.

My dog likes to lay in our window seat to watch the world go by. The seat has a thin cushion top on the lid. It is firm and it collects and traps his hair. I need to use a lint remover to get the hair out of the weave of the fabric. Vacuuming doesn’t work well. We got this blanket for him. I fold it into thirds and put it on top of the window seat. Now he has a more comfortable place to lie and his hair is on the blanket instead of the seat top. I’ve washed the blanket in cold water and tumble dry delicate warm, the instructions say no heat but I don’t want to wait all day for it to dry and the warm settings has had no ill effect on the blanket. It comes out of the drier like new. I am using the smooth side because the weather is warm. I will use the fluffy side in the winter when it is cooler by the window. I can see how it would be useful on other furniture, a car seat, or even the floor. We’re both glad I got it.

Silky cooling and Snuggly warm
Very nice CAPT.SNOOZE Waterproof Dog Blanket. My first impression is the dual-sided, double duty material. The print side is like a smooth silky cooling feel and the other side is fluffy textured to be snuggly warm. The paw prints are cute and nicely sized and spaced. The edge stitching could be improved as there are a lot of over-stitched areas, misaligned stitching, loose threads etc. I did not deduct a star for this because it can be fixed. But it could certainly either be improved or maybe quality control may have missed something that could have been the result of machining malfunction. Again, I can fix this, and the throw will be just as cute and functional. Overall, it’s perfect to add protection for your bed, car seats during travels, livingroom couch/chair or loveseat or wherever.

I really like the blanket, but one section is so shriveled like when they heated the plastic wrap, the material got overheated and it curled. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Nice to have
My chief reason for getting this blanket is to protect a white background chair that my dog can’t seem to stay off of. She has soiled the chair with dirt, mud, and who knows what else. Rather than constantly using fabric stain removers, and weakening the fabric, I saw this! The pattern is cute and is my dog’s fur color which will be nice to hide her shedding fur. It is larger than I was expecting, which is great. It’s not as thick as i thought it would be, but that’s okay. I tried pouring water on it like the video shows. It does bead off, like in the video. I did not feel moisture coming through. I have not washed it yet, but am glad to see that it washes in cold water in the machine. I’m not sure if it will maintain the waterproof qualities it currently has, but if not, I’ll make sure to update my review. So far, I am very pleased.

My two large GSD give this waterproof blanket two paws up in approval!I use this blanket on our deck for our dogs when they are outside. I love that fact that it’s waterproof for when the deck may be slightly damp. I machine washed and dried this blanket and it washed up very nicely with no pilling and no shedding of fabric lint. Both sides of the blanket are soft and comfortable. We appreciate that this blanket is such a large generous size. It’s big enough for both dogs to share.We have no complaints with this pet blanket. It washes up nicely and is soft and cozy for our doggos. We like the large size and that it is available in fun colors and patterns!

I needed a blanket for my Koda Blu when she sits on the couch. This one is the exact color green of my couch as well so it goes perfectly. It has quickly become her favorite security and she takes it into her kennel with her. We will also use it in the car out next trip to keep her comfy.

So soft and works
This blanket is so soft, I am actually surprised one of my kids didnât snag it and try to use for themselves! We are fostering a bunny who had a rough start and isnât the best with his litter box! We were using all kinds of blankets and pads and his pee would seep through or heâd eat it. He seems to really love this! If he has peed on it, it hasnât gone through and ruined my floor! He doesnât kick it, bunch it, or eat it like all the others! I find him lounging on it quite nicely. It washes and dries really well. Great buy if you have an animal who pees

This 50×60, waterproof, soft, and plush pet blanket is great for use around the home, in the vehicle, traveling, outdoors, and anywhere else that your furry family resides. It feels very well made and durable and I am expecting it to keep its quality across many washes and uses, it isn’t super thick or heavy but is more so than a normal plush throw blanket due to its waterproof construction. It seems to be waterproof so far, as it has gotten minimally wet from our pets without seeping through, but I haven’t fully saturated it as of yet. So far, my cat is absolutely loving sleeping on it and seems to appreciate its very soft, velvet-like texture.

Waterproof blankets have all sorts of uses. In this case the print indicates it is for a dog, but it could fit in the house of a dog lover.The measurements in the listing are accurate, it doesn’t allow water to pass through, and the price is great compared to other waterproof blankets. It doesn’t have a crinkly plastic sounds when moves which is appreciated. I have had waterproof blankets in the past that sound awful.The blanket is soft on both sides and is exactly as described so no negative notes. Recommended if you’re in the market!

I have several of these blankets that I use to protect my couches from dirty wet paws. The design is nice and it’s well stitched with binding on the edges. It’s sort of velour feeling on the printed side, smooth and soft. It is quite a bit thinner though than I’m used to. It does seem to repel water though. This is more of a dog blanket than one that might do double duty as a human snuggle blanket like my other ones. It is smaller (though measurements are as advertised) and priced quite a bit cheaper.

I love my dog, and I will get him all the blankets. This one is particularly nice, however, On the graphic side, it is quite smooth and microsoft. On the flip side, however, it’s incredibly luxurious. It’s one of the softest blankets I’ve ever felt. At this price point, this is a really good soft blanket. I love to spoil my dog.The stitching seems decent, so the edges and corners will hold up to repeated washings. Plus, it has some nice dog sayings on the graphic side.I’m really happy with this product, and so is my dog.
