Top quality. Won’t let you down.
Have taken this thing through the mountains of NC a few times now and it has performed flawlessly. The double is perfect for a 6’1″ 200lb man with an athletic build. I’m hard on my gear and this hammock has stood up well to the abuse. I’ve been using a standard GI poncho for a rain fly, but after seeing the quality of this hammock, I’ll be buying a woo rain fly as soon as I have the extra cash. I have almost zero complaints about the standard setup with straps right out of the box, however I’ve made a few modifications, mainly for convenience sake instead of necessity.The straps it comes with are strong and well stitched, but there are only a few (4-6?) Loops at the very ends of each tree strap, so finding trees that are exactly the correct length apart was tricky my first few times out, and adjustment is limited when set up. No big deal just takes a little extra planning. I’ve since upgraded to 21-loop straps for a total of 42 different attachment points, and life is amazing now.As others have pointed out the caribeaners are heavy, and make up most of the weight of the unit in a pack so I’ll be swapping them out for the recommended alloy ones as well in the near future. Again not needed but ounces = lbs.The entire hammock is super easy to pack and unpack, and with a quick ridline system I have it up in less than 5 minutes.For the price and quality, stop shopping around and get this hammock. Hell get 2. My gf has been bugging me to get her one of her own.

Great hammock!
I like how lightweight this WiseOwl is even though itâs double-sized and pretty long. Itâs very airy and comfortable, the stitching is quality enough for the price, the carabiners are even very good. The width on the double is perfect, Iâm 6â2â 193lbs and I can easily fit with either (both) young kids. Lady fits with me, but sheâs smaller framed, itâs snug. I really like the green color too, itâs less garish than other brands. I ended up getting the XL straps even though the included ones are really nice, because XLs fit better in tighter and wider (less standard) spaces like my backyard deck posts. Iâll keep the old ones anyway, theyâre compact. Packs down really small into the attached bag, no problems there, fits in my hand and not much bag space used. Iâll probably get an underquilt for fall/winter use because the breeze does penetrate a bit. Very relaxing and easy sleep!

Game changer
This Wise Owl hammock packs down to the size of a bag of coffee, weighs less. Very secure, very comfortable. Was able to sleep on my back, and sides.Small enough for any pack, and opens up new spots as it has no foot print.Used the Wise Owl rain fly in tandem.

really good for its price!
i bought 2 of these, one for myself and one for my brother. they are pretty durable and comfortable to sleep in (for camping) but i’m not sure about the under quilt situation if you’d like to use one. my brother took his camping and said he just wrapped himself in his sleeping bag instead of using an under quilt and was just fine, but this was also in the summertime! straps are very long and durable as well. my only complaint is that the pocket of one of them ripped off the side a bit, which to me isn’t a big deal nor do i think qualifies a refund. i just fixed it with a needle and thread and it was all good. it holds 2 people comfortable if you’re sitting, and it definitely could hold 2 people laying down if you wish, however none of us have tried. i’d really recommend if you’re interesting in hammocking and for camping as well!

I don’t have other hammocks to compare to and purchased this based on customer review and price. The hammock seems well made and sturdy. It is comfortable for two people, although I did not sleep in it yet. I appreciate the philosophy of the company in making quality items at an affordable price. I love the outdoors and like to be prepared for whatever activity I feel like doing, so having affordable options meets my needs. The hammock was simple to hang, for some reason I was expecting something more complicated. I will make use of this product as often as possible, hoping to hike in to some hot springs and spend the night there. I will definitely purchase from Wise Owl again and will be looking forward to additional products.

Great hammock for the price, even the squirrels like it, which is annoying
I’m glad I got this hammock. There were a lot of options and more expensive versions. I like cheap, but good quality, and this fit the bill. We’ve had it up in the yard for a couple of months now and it gets a lot of use. Only problem is, the squirrels like it too. Highly recommend.

Bargain
Was a replacement for a canvass hammock that kept getting dirty. So far haven’t had to clean the new one and imagine it will be easy when the time comes. I’ve spent so much more time in the hammock. Easily holds 2 adults. Love it!

Wow, what a great hammock!The quality of nylon and the stitching on this is amazing. Even the straps seem like they’ll hold up to some serious abuse.My one concern is how darn heavy the carabiners are. I would estimate that the sheer weight of all that steel accounts for a very large portion of the pack weight.4/5 stars. Consider offering aluminum carabiners as an upgrade; I think they would sell well!Update:Took this beast out to Algonquin park for a 32km hike in the back country, not at all disappointed. I compared it to a MEC model that a friend brought for about $90, and the WiseOwl held its own.The MEC version had far more anchor points on the straps, and the bottom of the hammock had a water resistant coating on it, which made me a little jealous until it rained.The WiseOwl hammock dried in about an hour of wind exposure, but my friend’s MEC held the water because of the water resistant coating.Quite satisfied.

Great hammock and works amazing. The straps are good quality however in my case need to get longer staps. On a hot day in the shade you will be cool, so a underquilt will be needed if you plan to use in fall or winter.For the seller the delivery was quick, I purchased in 2020 and wanted to use it good for an accurate review. Seems to hold up well under regular use this far. Product is as described by seller.I can not comment on customer service but would order again from this seller.
