I actually really liked this jacket but it has velcro. She is terrified of velcro. I failed to see this detail in the description, therefore I returned. It wasn’t used in water so I’m unsure of the quality but it fit well and seemed sturdy.

It makes me giggle every time my dog, Cookie, wears her shark vest. Sheâs so cute! It works well too. She has a tendency to fall off the paddle board and it keeps her afloat. Sheâs a natural sinker, so I can take her farther from shore now without worry. Other vests havenât worked as well.

We bought this for our Lab to wear while we are on the boat at the lake. Fits her well, especially around the belly. The front around her chest is a little big but had to get the larger size due to her belly. Love the fact that the belly band is large, gives support for grabbing her out of the water and helping her back on the boat. She’s 70lbs and so far the handle is holding up.

This life vest is extremely cute and does the job helping my dog with her swimming PT postop TPLO surgery. I only took away a star because the Velcro is already coming off after a month of maybe using it twice a week. The handle on the back was more helpful that I thought it would be for a big dog.

ACTUALLY SAVED MY DOGS LIFE. We were at a river and he got out of sight. This allowed him to swim and stay afloat long enough for one of us to grab the handle and pull him out.We have three dogs, three different body shapes, weights, and sizes, and these are adjustable and functional for all them.We had even (accidentally) picked up one of the dogs with just the velcro (straps on clipped) and it supported his weight.I highly recommend. These are excellent quality, easy to clean, functional, they are amazing.

Can’t get dog out of pool.
Vest fits very well and was sized correctly. Our golden retriever had his first swim in our pool and seemed to struggle because he was using just his front paws to swim. Ordered this and now can’t get him out of the water. He’s much more relaxed and really enjoys jumping in. Seems very well made and worth the price.
