Great, sturdy little harness.
UPDATE October 2015: Ya know what…. I’m sitting here giggling at my previous review (which I’ve left intact below the asterisks), because I totally and completely take back what I said about there being no chance in hell that a dog could wiggle out of these harnesses. These harnesses are NOT APPROPRIATE for Miniature Pinschers. Min Pins, lovable yet mischievous and always looking for ways to escape, can wriggle themselves out of these harnesses with ease. I learned this the hard way about 4-5 times. With *both* of my Min Pins. It’s a damn shame because its a soft and comfortable harness, but they developed this technique where they stretch out their front legs and just hit the reverse button and slip right out of the harnesses. If your dog is one of those “escape artist” breeds, think twice.***I bought this harness in pink and in sky blue for my miniature pinscher. For some reason these have slight sizing variations, although both were ordered in x-small. The pink one fits my dog perfectly, but the sky blue one is slightly tighter around the neck.In any case, I am very happy with this harness. I know for sure there is no way my dog can wiggle out of it, as agitated as she tends to be. The mesh seems to be pretty comfortable. She never complains about having it on, and sleeps with it. I don’t take it off unless it is to wash it or to change colors or just wear a collar. It is well sewn and constructed – doesn’t feel cheap at all.In terms of fit, the x-small fits her perfectly. She is a 3.5 month old miniature pinscher, about 10 inches high and 11 inches long.. about 9ish inches around the neck. This fits her snugly and comfortably. Hope that helps any min-pin owners get an idea of size.I definitely recommend this harness for a hyper dog who likes to try and wiggle out of harnesses, cause there is no chance of that happening with this one! It’s also very cute.

GREAT COMFORT ESPECIALLY DURING RECOVERY
My 2 year old girl Abbey just had ACL surgery. I needed a harness she could wear almost constantly so that we were not constantly twisting her and putting extra pressure on her back leg while stepping her into a harness. She has worn this harness nearly 24 hours a day for 5 weeks. If you have experienced this kind of surgery with your dog, then you know!! Abbey has long thin legs, and putting her in and out of harness 4 to four times a day would not be acceptable. For this recovery they must remain on a leash at all times when out of their crate, and they spend most of the day in their crate for 6-8 weeks. This has held up incredible well and there is NO chaffing, or rubbing or digging into her. The fabric is so soft and flexible, and yet durable. The strapping is wide and does not twist or bend. She is a farm dog, so she has not really spent much time on the leash so of course she wants to pull a bit! This offers a full support to lessen her ability to pull and does not get bunched up, curled up or rub her to hurt her in any way. I am so thankful we found this the week before her surgery !! This has been a crucial part of her recovery and would be great for just a regular situation as well.

Great Harness for Large Dog!
We have a Chow-Shepherd Mix that weighs 50lbs and the XXL is slightly big on him but he needs to gain 5-10lbs — he is deaf, has moderate arthritis and has scarring on his neck from a choke-chain from his previous owner.. this harness has been great! Our dog wears it during the day, all day every day and it works very well! If I need to grab him because he can’t hear me (or to help him up the stairs), I feel much better about grabbing the strap on the back of the harness than I do pulling on his collar. It seems to be comfortable for him, he’s never put up a fight from the first day we put it on him. It’s very easy to put on, the straps are padded by his chest/ribs and the harness is adjustable. Like others have said, make sure you measure your dogs neck to base your size needs on that as the head/neck piece is not adjustable. It’s held up well for the amount of time he wears it, some thread is loose by the mesh/fleece on near the neck but I’m sure it’s because our dog has scratched at it one too many times. The neck part is somewhat big on our dog, and he’s tried to pull out of it and been somewhat successful — however, the dog would have to pull out of the chest strap as well to get loose, and as long as it fits properly I don’t think it’s possible.PROS: Seems it’s comfortable for wear, mesh is breathable, chest strap is adjustable, has held up well, lightweightCONS: Neck/head piece is not adjustableOVERALL: I definitely recommend this harness for any dog, whether it’s going to be for constant wear or just to wear for occasional walks!Update 5/12/12 – Purchased another (so we have an extra) and absolutely LOVE the Beige color — not sure what it is but it looks so much nicer. Will purchase another when it’s worn out! (1st one held up VERY well for 6 months of 12+ hours of wear each day)

It barely fits over my 10 week old mini dachshund but will work for the time we need it for, was hoping he could grow into it a bit more but it works for now, the material is breathable and the body belt is adjustable, overall like it
